I don't know. But you can't make a blanket statement that a felon can't have a gun. Also, most can vote even without their records being sealed.

Oh didn't realize that as that expungement was not mentioned. In that case he could avoid any fed charges, but wasn't he on parole for some crime?

I didn’t look too much further into his status, but apparently the little puke has a way of getting off of charges, like when he was pulled over for drunk driving.

A shotgun has around an 80% chance of killing a person if they are hit just once, if my memory serves me.
An Ar-15 is far less. In fact, a shotgun will do far more damage than most any rifle or pistol, and almost without question, if you are talking about being hit just once.
Statistically, this felonious, hero of a medic that had his bicep shot off, would have most likely died, had a shotgun been used instead of an AR-15.

Depends upon the shotgun.
.410 gauge with Birdshot? 12 gauge 3 1/2 mag with buckshot. Two totally different birds. 12 Gauge slugs do a good job also.

Never once argued it was less deadly shot for shot. However an AR Is almost always chosen when the intent is to inflict as much damage as possible.
Please refer to the majority of recent mass shootings in the states.

I don't know anyone who uses a .410 for self defense. That's a stretch. Now granted, a .410 would be better than nothing if you needed to defend yourself.
His father and family live in Kenosha..he was FAR less detached from “home” than any news outlet let on. I don’t think he should’ve been there, my son wouldn’t be, but he has as much “right” to be there as anyone and was in fact doing exactly what he said he was doing.
In fact, I believe the individuals who were shot traveled further to Kenosha than Kyle did. “Across state lines” was a few miles and totally irrelevant.
When you read the little information available about the "victim" that survived Rittenhouse trying to murder him in cold blood", you find that he had a felony that was expunged. Looking at his past, it would appear that he has had multiple run ins with the law, including most recently taking pictures of private cop cars vehicles, likely to help his Antifa comrades with some sort of terrorism.
He appears to be smart enough to stay out of major trouble and pay the lawyer fees to get him off the hook when he's been caught being up to no good.
As a matter of fact, one of the two who died was a convicted pedophile and ironically, he died while trying to touch a minor.
The other was a convicted wife beater. Repeat domestic abuser convicted of strangulation, felony use of a weapon, etc.
If it were true that an AR is almost always chosen, we would have lots more dead people from ARs and rifles in general, but that isn't what the numbers support. The vast majority of gun deaths in America come via handgun and mostly due to gang violence. As a matter of fact, we have many more people killed with knives in America than all rifles combined.
Kyle's intent was to help with medical emergencies, protect businesses and the AR was for self defense. That's cool that you own guns but how is the concept of self defense so foreign to you?
You are apparently fine with this lone survivor who was also there illegally carrying a gun while supposedly there to provide medical assistance, the same as Rittenhouse. And Rittenhouse wasn't a child. He was 17 at the time and is 18 now. I don't know about Canada or if y'all even have your own military, but in America, 18 year olds join the service and have died defending this country for as long as I can remember.
Though I don't think it's generally a big deal to have a beer while out shooting, I choose to refrain from that behavior because I have no desire to catch a stupid fucking charge like that.

Like it or not, he (an active participant in a riot) was shot for pointing a weapon at a victim who was being attacked and in fear for their life.

Did you listen to the trial at all? Gauge admitted to pointing his firearm at Kyle prior to being engaged and shot. Exactly what part of a 3 week trial do you believe you have a better handle of than the jurors, lawyers, and witnesses involved?

In a “WTF?!?!” moment, even Gaige’s lawyer dropped his head when Gaige stated he pointed his gun at him. He knew in that moment the case was over. But hey - @Jestopherson knows or has seen something no one else has, even Gaige’s lawyer
