Of course, it was just a whim that came to mind to post the thought. There are females here. There's been articles and studies for years claiming that women are better investors than men.
One main reason oft stated is because they are more likely to stay calm during turbulent markets. They can better weather the storm than a man can for whatever reason. They also tend to choose less risky assets which, statistically speaking, do better long term.
So yeah, while the man is often in charge of the money for the house, statistically speaking, it seems like many households would be better off with the woman in charge. To each their own though. I just figure that the title of the sub sort of excludes women from participating, even if they might want to. I am sure it's not a big deal and it probably hasn't affected a large number of the small number of women here, but:
