The health and fitness industry targets both men and women. In some areas, they target women even MORE than men. I wonder if the name of this sub should be changed to "Fitness Industry Economics" instead of Men's Economics? I originally thought this was a sub just for men to discuss economics and that females weren't welcome LOL. IDK what it takes to rename one of these things, or if it might mess with search results or something, but it's worth a thought!

Because this forum is overwhelmingly male.
Of course, it was just a whim that came to mind to post the thought. There are females here. There's been articles and studies for years claiming that women are better investors than men.
One main reason oft stated is because they are more likely to stay calm during turbulent markets. They can better weather the storm than a man can for whatever reason. They also tend to choose less risky assets which, statistically speaking, do better long term.
So yeah, while the man is often in charge of the money for the house, statistically speaking, it seems like many households would be better off with the woman in charge. To each their own though. I just figure that the title of the sub sort of excludes women from participating, even if they might want to. I am sure it's not a big deal and it probably hasn't affected a large number of the small number of women here, but:

Maybe I don't know shit about women or my selection method was contraproductive and caused me to pick more emotional type of women. I also read some psychology and the consensus is women's behaviour is more regulated by emotions.
Its possible that point 2 is big enough factor to compensate for emotions- as less risk you take the less you need to deal with swings therefore bad feelings. While men tend to be overconfident and overestimating their own abilities risking more and more money when they run good.

Dude fuck yes I can make the best fucking sandwich ever. ...I makes the homemade bread I use for the sandwiches though. Fuck store bought bread, nothing is better than homemade bread with peanut butter and jelly or honey and cinnamon. Or just dipped in some california-sourced extra virgin olive oil with some chicken/turkey on the side. So good. Don't get the Italian stuff. The mob still runs the olive oil trade out of Italy. They cut that shit with other oils, use non extra virgin oil, it is pretty fucked up.
My girl can make an equally good sandwich too. Overall, nowadays she cooks way more than I do.
She handles her own finances, I handle mine. We both make sandwiches just depending in the situation. Works out well.
