Leg edema

Has anyone had any water retention in their lower legs?
My lower legs are showing some water retention. My socks are leaving impressions and near my shin if I press hard it leaves an impression

I’m running test enanthate 500 mg per week(250 mg 2x week)
Started Anavar a week ago 20 mg 2x week
Arimidex 0.25 mg day after shot

my diet is clean. No sodium

I have history of blood pressure. I’m on several meds and it’s under control

any ideas?

Sounds like an electrolyte imbalance causing your body to retain water purposely

try actually consuming sodium and throw in some potassium as well

tablespoon of salt in warm water + banana = the most disgusting yet best gateraid you can imagine

I'd consult with your doctor. Better to be safe, considering this can be indicative of heart issue like @Whopperflopper said.
Its probably nothing though, but wouldnt you like to know for sure?
Thanks, been sitting in the back of my mind. Every day when I take my socks off I'm like, wtf? Definerly gets moved up on the priority list before the visit to the eye doctor.

Summertime I'm literally drinking a gallon plus of water, salt added, gatorade too. Cramp up bad in the afternoons. Have to wear a Tyvek suit that doesnt breathe much, even without it humidity is 100%
soaked through my clothes by 7 am.

The doctor visit is a win either way. Its probably nothing, but you'll have peace of mind knowing its nothing. Or if it is something, you're addressing it early. Good luck!

I work around fiberglass. I handle it better than most. Our customers are that 1% that have expendable income. No unions here, just long hours with noxious chemicals. I out last kids half my age, a semi skilled job, building top of the line luxury boats.

I'm getting ready to add some Hghx just a few ius to my Trt. Gotta stay ahead of these Gamers. I'm 10 minutes from the worlds most famous beach, time to start cutting, yet I'm already cut. Just not enough mass. I'm finaly getting my shit together, time for some fun in the sun, and maybe find a Sugarmomma

I had a situation one morning where I began having cramps in my legs to a sever point where I could no longer move them, slowly my core could no longer contract and I only had my torso to push myself up on my bed, my arms began failing, and finally my chest, if I wasn’t given IV fluids in time after yelling for help to my dad. I would have probably had a heart attack.
That episode happened when I used to be a bulimic, which if you know the main cause of death is due to a loss of electrolytes and minerals. Second being malnourishment, I was bodybuilding so I had enough muscle to not die of malnourishment, but I would have died from the latter

So that’s where I’m thinking the cramping is coming from, based on how the situations from you both sound, just an imbalance of electrolytes and/or minerals. Especially during the summertime when you’re sweating constantly like you said. Gateraids unfortunatly contain little sodium and potassium, you’re better off doing the salt water and banana if it’s that sever, but if that still doesn’t help you may need IV fluids. But if you’re on here typing, you’re not at that point yet.

I am an advocate for a good multivitamin/multimineral (not some shitty one a day you find at a target) and an electrolyte source which doesn’t even require a supplement to replenish. But Gatorade and Poweraid are pretty cheap, so if you drank 4-5 of those you would probably get an average amount of electrolytes.

I agree that electrolytes play a huge role in so many functions of the human body. They are a necessity.

@Whopperflopper @Cmillis
I was wondering how you guys are making out with this issue?
Thanks for checking in shackleford

im still running test enanthate and upped anavar to 60 mg
Edema is much better but not gone. Slightly swollen but now if I press on lower leg there is no impression

couple things
1. Increased electrolytes and drink a lot of coconut water for potassium
2. Got better running shoes for treadmill. Don’t run/ jog everyday. I bought weighted vest and I walk fast at high incline with weights which significantly seeems to have reduced impact but allows good cardio. I think impact aggravated swelling as now that I’m older my joints tend to hurt
3. I had bp med I haven’t used in while that I started again. Procardia XL. I stopped it and I’m not sure if it is coincidence or not but swelling in lower legs went down at same time. I increased my labetalol to counter BP instead

Thanks for suggestions on electrolytes

stay healthy and train smart

Still holding about 10 lbs of water weight, added 1/2 tab Arimedex to Test inject days. Also appears I didn't take latest testing of Hgh into consideration and overdosed my first vial. Treated it like 10 iu, instead of 14.
I am feeling much better. Just got back from a great workout.
