Workout Belts

I got an SBD 13mm lever belt a few months ago and it was a great investment. Most of the thicker belts like that take time to break in but this one is somehow soft. The lever system makes it easy to adjust on the fly too. It wasn't cheap but will last a lifetime so it was worth it.

I have an inzer lever and single prong belt. Both at top notch. Take a little while to break in but they are fantastic.

I’ve been using the same belt from Best Belts for about 10 years. Great quality, but they take a while to deliver.
I’m curious how often you all get a new belt. Mine is still in good shape, but I’m wondering if anyone gets a new one after X many years. Is it strictly off degradation?

I have a couple belts by Pioneer. Couldn’t recommend them enough

Was actually looking pioneer belts, I'm finally getting to the point in my PL that I will need a good kne as opposed to my current belt that I only use for PRs
Reasonably priced as well.
Was looking st the 8.5mm Lever
Any specific recommendations?

Honestly I like the 10mm Lever Belts. Make sure you measure and get the correct size. My second belt is the single prong design and I like it as well. It adjusts in 1/2 increments, which is pretty nice and it’s smaller when I’m cutting down.

My Lever is suede and it’s held up really well. I’ve used it twice per week for 1+ year and the outside still looks good. Standard belts will ship much faster than custom belts.

I probably should have mentioned
But I had issues with "Overusing" the belt for my lifts before.
I was pushing too hard against the belt, as opposed to using it to just tighten up my core.
I figured the 8.5mm would still have some give, so I'm not just extending my gut into the belt,

I have a decent 2 prong for general usage, but definitely need the lever, hopefully one that I dont fall back into my bad habits lol

I’ve never had anything less than ten, since about 1.5mm is going to be suede.

Had a buddy crack a rib squatting with a 13mm, so I don’t recommend those at least lol

I am using Inzer 10mm Forever single prong belt. They have it also in lever. Pretty happy with it, and can get it 13mm if that's your thing. Can get here in Canada through Inner Strength, they have some decent things

I wouldn't recommend the 13mm unless you're 300+ pounds and moving serious big boy weight.

I have the 13mm lever and it's too much. Great belt, but I'd get the 10mm if I were ever to buy another one. Mine if finally starting to break in after a year of use.

Couldn't agree more, then 10mm was tough to break in and get used to, I couldn't imagine 13mm
