The screen is a giant gaff, some consultant spec's a rear projection screen for a regular throw unit. Anyone see the problem(s)? Doesn't matter how good I am at my job, can't fix stupid
You be "Poulan" on that bitch all day trying to get some work done.Poulan
That's a rough go lol.
Any one I've used dies very quickly
Cant handle a serious day of cutting, you NEEDED an upgrade if you want to get solid work done lol
As for the projector, nope... cant see anything... but I'm a dumb carpenter lolIm not allowed to touch anything that moves or buzzes..
Unless its concrete sliding down the chute

Graco TC ProAny painters in here? Need some insight
I’m a woodworker hobbiest. In my spare time I build furniture. I’ve got the woodworking down but now want to fine tune the detail work. I’m looking at hvlp turbine systems. Really thinking about the Fuji mini mite 3 or 4. Also as much as I hate painting I’m thinking with a system like this I may pick up a few Sunday side jobs.
Any recommendations/insights for a noob wanting to get into paint spraying?

it's a screen for rear projection. Tons of light shines through it and you loose your image if used as a regular screen. You can even see the millwork behind it lol, the two pillarsAs for the projector, nope... cant see anything
Will be some nice wood when you get done. Always found that using a chainsaw file to touch up the chain every tank of gas keeps the saw cutting great and helps keep the engine from getting hot. When cutting all day we had two saws and would let one rest a tank while using the other. Oak is pretty serious wood. Mesquite is pretty tough on a saw also.I'll get a couple pics up when the wife sends them, before and after. Got it all done. The saw was perfect. No lie though, I hurt. It's been a while since I put in an honest day of decent labor. Food, water and rest. Splitting starts tomorrow god willing

It sprays unthinned latex?Ended up with a Fuji mini mite 4. I love it! Perfect for my needs.
It sprays unthinned latex?

I've heard of it. What's it run per gallon? And where do you buy it?I spray kem aqua plus. It’s a water based pigmented lacquer. It’s a cabinet grade product. Lays down really well. Super easy to spray. Being that my Fuji is a 4 stage hvlp it would probably do well spraying latex but it would definitely be a learning curve for me as it’s a lot thicker than what I’m use to spraying.

It’s a Sherwin williams product. You can’t just walk in a Sherwin williams and get it though as it’s not kept in stock at most locations. I’m in a big city and had to call corporate to help me find it. I had to tell them that I wanted the kem aqua plus in a surfacer (primer), white semi- gloss and clear in a dull rubbed. Then they looked in their system and told me what store had what on the shelf. I ended up going to two different places to buy all three products. It’s not cheap. It’s around $80 a gallon I believe. I got lucky on my last run and they had a 5 gallon bucket that was a little more than half full of the clear dull rubbed and I got that $120 which worked out to under $40 a gallon.
General finish makes a water base lacquer that I’m told is just like kem aqua plus and it’s a bit cheaper
Best thing about water base is it raises the wood grain. Gives a cool look on table tops

Very cool. This is the one I suggested along with one of the tips. You can switch them out like the big sprayers so I can get latex through it no problem.
