Have you dislocated your thumb? lol.Thumbs pinched between bar and hand. Until you kill the nerves in the thumb it is painful. Also need the skin to toughen up in the thumb as well, i have tore skin lots and bled all over lol

Maybe 3-4” Put the bar 3/4 of the way up my shin.
Kind of yeah, quite the feeling when you feel the gnurling cut into your thumb and feel the skin start to tear. The nerves eventually dont feel pain anymore so that part is done for me just the skin issue for nowHave you dislocated your thumb? lol.

Pulled from blocks on Saturday, why on earth did that feel that much harder than off the floor?
I can’t pull as much off blocks. I think I can get as much on a 3” deficit as a 3” blockProbably less leg drive. How high of blocks?

I assume rack pulls dont count the same as block pulls but I pull both conventional and my rack pull is higher

Yeah i remember you telling me that.Block pulls carryover to deadlift better. Mechanics of rack pulls are pretty different to pulling from the floor or blocks. Rack pulls are better suited for hypertrophy than improving the deadlift in my opinion.

The 455 was pretty easy. My legs still shake like like crazy but it was an easy pull.
I can barely pull 525 from blocks, lol.
