Race to 500lb Deadlift

Haven’t posted on this in a while, had a hiatus for the holidays and just got back on track in Jan. Still working my way to the 500.

Top 2 today were 425 x3 and 445 for a single, felt like I had one more in me for maybe 465 but I’ll get it next week.

Nice bro.

You're getting close.
My PR is 450.
Now I'm back down to 405 since I've recovered.
I'm aiming for 500 this year, between a new program and a solid cycle, I'm hoping I can make it

lol I'm still pretty far behind,
Now that I'm back down to 405 After my knee break.

I truly believe the mind over matter.
Hit 250 on bench today for 5 solid, could have gotten more felt great.
Hit 275... couldnt even get it.
Shouldnt have been a problem, the weight just worried me.
I have to get my head in the game

The difference between 475 and 505 felt like 300lbs when I tried it.

Lol isnt that the truth, when I did try to jump from 450, it felt like there was ZERO chance of me pulling any more weight.

Oh well, back to the gym lol

I think everyone has their lift, your killing me on bench

Pulled from blocks on Saturday, why on earth did that feel that much harder than off the floor?

Got 405 for 1 waited 20 seconds did it half way lost grip then again 20 seconds later and got it.

but I hold it all the way up and down when I lift. I dont drop after I get it up, I go controlled down.

dont use anything either raw. But I lose my grip badly when I am almost all the way down.

may just try and use chalk next time. I got 405 pretty easy.

edit- i also never tried over 405

What grip you using

what would be a good method to work up to 405+ without tiring myself out to much and still being warmup up enough to not pull anything?
