I’m not tall but I’ve had the same issue with ass coming off the bench. The best cue I got for that was this. When initiating the leg drive twist the feet into the floor,heels twist inward. For me this caused my gluteus to contract and subsequently push my torso upwards towards the bar. Takes some practice and Ive had to lower the weights to accomplish this.Good info there.
As I'm pretty new to lifting heavy (Usually just hypertrophy training)
I've had issues keeping my ass on the bench when I leg drive hard.
I cant go too heavy right now without losing form.
Slowly getting better.
As for positioning,
6'1"
Ring finger on the band is a comfortable position for me.
Some guys have said that I'm a little too tight inside for my height, but I have monster triceps from Bodybuukding and i like to use them lol
