Whats up everyone. Hope everyone is doing great! What is your favorite Protein powder for bulking? I tried Carnivor and Rule1. I like rule1 because it mixes and taste good unlike Carnivor that it doesnt mix right and it leaves me with a bad aftertaste.

Anyone here can suggest something I have bot tried out yet?

Thank you for your time!

Redcon1 - MRE Lite is what I use for wanting to feel fuller longer such as before bed or meal replacement. Download Their app and they have 50% off sales every month or so, that’s when I stock up.

MP Combat is what I use pre and post workout. It’s a whey blend and actually the cheapest I’ve found of any protein when on sale. It doesn’t sit heavy or make me feel full when I’m about to hit the gym.

Sorry to detour your thread a little bit. I won’t take much time. I noticed you haven’t introduced yourself yet @FLTestlab It would be awesome if you could make a proper introduction at New Member Introduction

Interesting name btw, do you have a service you plan to offer this board?

Oh no. I'm just a user on trt but currently on a bulk cycle. The name got stuck with me by my friends lol. I always was good in chemistry and other things. I was always the type to make stuff or duplicate stuff. In addition, to that. Since my primary job has to do with product branding and web development i always created products for companies, so my friends always saw my projects. So thats when the called me TestLab lol

Haha! That is awesome. Well, good to have you here sir.

I like XTEND whey protein isolate. I don’t use it for bulking though. I use that and rule one. I prefer the xtend. I mix mine with dark cocoa powder, dark chocolate syrup, and a few dark chocolate chips. If I use coffee for the liquid i stop there. If I am using almond milk, I mix pb2 in there as well. Blend it up with ice and that is my evening snack. Maybe 400 calories at most.

Im currently on rule 1 for protein but im also going to get the mass version for calories.

A protein powder isn't really going to "bulk" you per-se. It's there to help fill in gaps when you can't always put down a chicken breast. Whey is whey, casein is casein, protein is protein.

If you are looking for a weight gainer/replacement shake for bulking then just use whatever protein powder you like and tailor to the macros you need. Throw in some whole milk, heavy whipping creme, nut butters, whatever carb source you want i.e. oats. Powdered pre-made gainers are nearly all full of crap ingredients and not worth the $$$ vs. the DIY route.

The protein poweder i only use to fill in gaps while morning, working, before sleep. And you are right at first I did get them confused because my main goal was to bulk up that's why now ill be purchasing some gainer powder to add to my diet which its a clean diet. I dont go dirty because then I get sick.

Thank you for that.

I think what is being said is you don’t need to purchase gainer. If you just add two tablespoons of PB with two scoops of powder, you are already at 700 cal. Add whole milk or heavy cream and you are at 1000 cal.

This!!! True Nutrition all day. Been using them for years. Just recently I decided to venture away from whey and designed this custom blend.

I see you went with a vegan protein. I’ve been reading a lot of literature and have watched a few Netflix documentaries on plant based proteins. It seems our bodies process plants better than meat and it’s even proven that going plant based eliminates diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, etc. I’m not sure I could ever make the switch unless my life depended on it but I am now incorporating plant protein into my blends as you can see above.

It’s a bit different if you’re used to whey. Whey thickens up where the blend I made doesn’t. The trick is to only use around 6-8 oz of water so it doesn’t get to watered down. It still tastes amazing and being that I make it in 6-8 oz servings it only takes me 2-3 gulps to chug it after a workout.

Be prepared, hemp protein is earthy tasting and has a bit of a grit like sand. Lol
