I specifically said heavy processed oils are to be avoided. Coconut is absolutely a good substitute for cooking oils. But it’s not because Its coconut oil. Just because it’s not vegetable oil. Quality Olive oil would be suitable as well.Well for one I guess i should put it this way. I would rather cook with coconut oil than canola oil.
I mean if all oils are good then I should be able to live on chicken fried rice???
I just don’t want to see these things be perpetuated with no understanding of why or where they came from. Guys Have improved their lipid profiles eating just McDonald’s. So the “good fat” argument is sort of outdated. That’s all. If you enjoy those foods go for it.
