Uh oh....doing squats this morning (not even that heavy) felt something in lower back pop on the way up. About put me on my knees. Can’t sit still or it starts to stiffen up. This isn’t gonna be good. Yeah, I’m old. Any of you guys have back issues? Do I need to man up and work thru the pain or sit it out for a few days? Fuck me...
I get those, had it in my neck yesterday. Stay out until it cool again, Achilles said it right, epsom salt (I ad boron also) baths HOT as you can handle. Heating pad? Sleep on that! Better to be out for a few days than a year or so if you really fuck something up

Damn man, no bueno. Hopefully just a strained muscle. My back is fucked up because I thought I was king big dick and lifted waaay too heavy. I ended up with 2 herniated disks and now get back injections every 6-10 weeks. I am unable to squat, deadlift, or barbell row. It has been a challenge trying to grow legs because of the issue but I am doing my best. I wish you the best. Maybe go get a couple deep tissue massages?
 
100% stay out for a few days. I’d say give it a week if it’s that bad. However, don’t let it sit stiff for a week. Take epsom salt baths, ice baths, stretch out slowly every few hours.

there is talk where we live, they are thinking of changing the school start time an hour later so the kids can sleep in a little longer, not fucking joking at all. I doubt it happens. so yeah lets fuck everyone schedule up to accommodate some entitled kids.

I’m guessing it may be more placebo, due to just feeling/looking better. Nothing like drying up and hardening up to make a guy feel on top of the world lol

Idk what gear you’re on, so it might not be a good idea if you’re on a couple orals, but a few round of 800mg ibuprofen would help get the inflammation down and help with recovery as well. Pick up “tiger balm” (cvs or Walmart should have it near bengay/icy hot) and rub on the area as well, that shit is a God send.

Oh fuck no. Stay off of it, and go see a doctor. Your back is not something you wanna fuck around with.

Do you warm up or just right into working sets? Just curious?

Hearing something pop is not good bro. My back was strained from other exercises and then wrong form on the squats finished me off. Was out of the gym for 4 months. Take it easy and lay off.

Yeah, warmed up like always. Back has been kinda jacked up from my time in military. This time I felt what I think was a disc pop out and back in down above tailbone. No sharp pain now just dull ache and nerve pain down leg. Worse after i sit still it stiffens up fast. Gonna ice it and heat it.

The reason I say, is because the hardest part about self-diagnosing is when the muscle come inflamed (especially the back). It becomes hard to determine if you’re actually fucked up or if the area is just really sore from the strain. When I tore my mcl he first 3 days I thought I had fucking broken every ligament inside my knee. After the inflammation went down and I could properly move around I could determine how serious it was.

However, like stated above, best bet would be a doctor if after 48 hours you can’t deal with it.

Yeah just stay off of it. I really advise you to see a doctor. Your spine effects so many things in your body

Not critiquing anything you do, but I’ve heard as you get older warming becomes more and more important. Maybe do an extra warm up set or even drop the overall weight down a little.

I’ve had two back surgeries what do you want to know ? Takes me 3-4 days before I can walk after I have a blow out. Get a Tens unit.
 
So would you say it really is a poor man’s Primo? And if so, would it be a good compound for a woman?
Im pretty sure androgens are a no no for women but who knows now days

go to a chiropractor asap, wont completely fix it but it will get the pressure off the disk if it’s a hernia. If you ruptured it then you probably won’t make it very far under your own control. In the mean time, ice and ibuprofen

But then you’ll be blacklisted.

Probably due to the faulty stoppers. He probably used a harpoon of a 30g slin pin which would make those stoppers look like swiss cheese after 1 draw. He then injected a huge chunk of rubber that made it's way to his back, where it settled in and is causing all the trouble.

Titter should replace the gear and give him 10x his money spent in refund of BTC. It's the only fair solution.

Sounds like a hernia don’t try to pop it back in place yourself. You will make it worse

Titter my gear is broken it’s made me swell up, lift heavier shit and my dick is always hard. I want compensation for the embarrassment it’s caused me.
