What do you guys think I have been on a slight deficit and now during the day I’m feeling so hungry and at random times. it’s not a normal hunger also, I truly feel like I’m going to go into a diabetic coma and instantly begin shaking, can’t focus and need to eat that second or anybody in my way will feel the wrath of thor’s hammer.

I’m eating
300g Of carbs
50g fat
180g protein

any idea what can be causing this ? maybe lack of sugar or fat ?

this is recently new for me, I could go pretty much the whole day not eating until dinner.

not cycle just trt 120mg weekly

regular day of eating

brkfst burrito: scramble & beans
60c 16f 22p

lunch : rice & beef & sausage
160c 15f 61p

pre: cereal & milk
post: two scoops w. soy milk
40c 10f 60p

dinner: lentils in crock with veggies & sauage
40c 10f 20p

Well, when I am in a deficit I am hungry also. I currently feel your pain. You may need to space calories out a bit more efficiently, maybe even adding more back into your daily diet.

yeah man it’s weird it’s not like i’m eating 1800kc a day, still at 2400ish , lunch is spaced into two containers. i’m thinking of doing brown rice instead of white maybe i’m digesting it very fast ? what would you recommend i add more fats, carbs or protein ? i’ve also added some more lean muscle maybe i need more fuel for that

Fiber is filling. Get some Metamucil. Most people don’t even get 1/2 of daily recommended. I take 3 servings a day unless a meal contains beans.

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk is excellent with cereal. When you say cereal I’m sure you are referring to the special K type as opposed to cocoa Krispies. Simple sugars make me hungrier. Definitely replace that rice with brown rice. It has more taste. Brown jasmine is as close to white as far as taste is concerned yet still a complex carb. I jut got done with a mound of spaghetti and Sunday gravy. Love me some whole wheat pasta.

i currently using soy milk but do like almond milk better, even sometimes do oat milk for extra carbs it’s good shit. yes cereal is multi grain squares or corn puffs , not too sugary (although i’m CRAVING sugar like jolly ranchers and gatorade) im gonna switch my rice’s i’m not a picky eater at all so no biggie. yum pasta and gravy is my number one meal. i make gravy from scratch (in crock is amazing) during the summer, unfortunately tomato season is almost over in my neck of the woods

How much do you weight? Protein seems low for a cut. I personally would lower carbs and up fats.

sitting at 173 this morning.
i dropped carbs from 400g to 300g within a few weeks, figured i’d try to lose some body fat with all the carbs i can get since i’m addicted to carbs lol so far so good my gut is starting to shrink without losing strength. maybe i’ll experiment with a lil more fat less carbs and see if that keeps me fuller

what would you recommend? like some potatoes ?
Yeah potatoes are a good start but regular white potatoes personally never fill me up. But who knows, maybe they fill you up. Sweet potatoes, oats, squash, pumpkin puree, beans, I'll use these and they keep me full for a longer stretch of time.
And also something I love when cutting are fiber tortillas. Idk the brand name but I get em at walmart and it is a tortilla wrap that's only 50 cals a piece. I sometimes use them with my eggs in the AM and its Very effective to stretch out those calories

And load up on veggies at every meal if possible. The extra volume can help fill you up for a bit longer

Canned San Mazanos in specialty grocery stores makes a good gravy. Walmart even carries a generic version imported from italy.

We eat the hell out of some sweet potatoes. They are super healthy. I just make coins or wedges with 4 XL peeled potatoes. Toss them in 1Tbsp Olive oil salt and pepper. 40min Flip at 20min at 425.
