Supplements

Mass gainers are a good way to get fat. Whole foods offer a more balanced nutrient profile.

Mass gainers are expensive and shitty. Don't listen to Mr. "run deca for five weeks."

Agreed. I would always advise someone to make their own mass gainer with whole foods. You can adjust macros and calories to your liking, and the food quality is much higher. Some common ingredients: milk, protein powder, peanut butter, bananas, Greek yogurt, oats, etc.

My mass shake is a whole avocado, three tablespoons of peanut butter, two scoops of whey, a banana, a cup of oats, top off with whole milk.

It tastes like shit, but it's around 13-1500 calories.

Hi all. Been working out for about a year now. I have only been relying on diet so far. I can eat a 500gr steak plus 500gr pasta with mince and veg per meal and not pick up weight in fact I can eat anything without worrying bout gaining fat. I feel it is time to supplement my diet. What is the best supplement that would help me pack on muscle mass in your opinion.

None. Just pick up a multivitamin and pre workout(optional)
You can get bcaa if you train fast..

Don't get fooled, supplement companies want money bruh :D

Your right but if it just delivers half of what is says it will make a difference. Eating so much I cant fit another meal in haha and my weight stays constant at 81 kgs

Use a fattier, cheaper cut of meat for your steak pasta meals and use those additional funds to buy oats PB egg whites and make your own shakes

Used to make a shake with oats milk powder choc pudding powder whey protein and pb. Severely allergic to eggs which is a draw back would eat 12 a day if I could...all the nice fats and cholesterol in there. Got my hands on a shake containing oats powder soy protein and whey isolate plus vits. Serving is about 5000kJ 54gr protein and it costs under 40 dollars. Cheaper than my homemade shake. Gonna give it a go.
