Calorie intake

Hello everyone I know to add muscle mass I need to get my calories up there I was just wondering how some of you guys get to 5000+ calories I usually can't go above 2400 for the day

Meal prep religiously. Bring your food to work, something with good protein, healthy fats, and carbs.

I don't have time for a big breakfast, so I weigh out two big scoops of Phase 8 protein with milk, blueberries, bananas, and whatever else I feel like throwing in the Ninja. Drink that on the way in to work.

Eat a small meal every 2-3 hours. Carb up before a workout - I personally take BCAA's during workouts, then chase with another double scoop protein shake afterwards.

Shower, have a nice home cooked meal, and maybe one more shake before bed so I don't wake up feeling the need to eat.

4000-5000 calories isn't so much of a chore when you plan things out I'm advance. If fact, it becomes almost too easy.

What makes you think you need 5,000 calories? You'll add a lot of weight doing that, but I guarantee that most of it won't be muscle. Unless if you're running insane cycles (something similar to an IFBB pro) and already weigh 230+ you shouldn't be eating like that. People who claim to eat 5,000 calories and call themselves hardgainers aren't really eating 5,000 calories. they just don't know how to count or exaggerate.
The Best thing to do is to eat quality food, figure out which macronutrient split you'll follow (40p/40c/20f, 40p/30c/30f, 33/33/33, etc) and eat 500 calories above your tdee). You'll probably find yourself only needing 3000-3500 calories. There will be lots of meal prep, much like how Kinetic ^ described, but you'll have nice lean gains and will look a hell of a lot better. You'll also save yourself from creating another thread 6 months from now on "how many calories should i eat to cut"

I agree, you should calculate your TDEE and add 10 to 20 % calories to gain mass, so I've learned from the guys here; I started 3 weeks ago and it showed I needed to eat 3100 calories daily, I'm 5'7'' and 165 lbs; I've gained about 6 pounds since I started and I can say its not fat mostly

I don't know anyone who eats 5,000 calories per day lol. Unless you weigh 250+, you don't need anywhere near that amount.

As for, "how" you do it - you either have the appetite or you don't. Force feeding generally doesn't work well in the long-term, which is why dieting usually don't work for fat people, either, unless they start to actually change the foods they eat. You can try B-vitamins to raise your appetite along with others.

My body essentially demands 3,000 calories per day minimum. If I have any less, I will wake up at 4am starving and rush down to get some food or else I feel insane lol
