Just wanted to know where everyone stands on this issue. I for one would never give up my pineapple, raspberries, bananas, or cantaloupe. To me the health benefits greatly outweigh the sugar content. Thoughts???

People with that old school mentality are the ones that seem to demonize sugar and fructose. Im not saying you can sit there and chow away at mangos like its oatmeal but if you track your macros and limit your sugar intake, fruits can be one of the most beneficial things you can add to your diet. They are extremely high in micronutrients and many like mangos are great probiotics as well.Just wanted to know where everyone stands on this issue. I completely agree with you guys. Fruit should not be avoided. I argue my point with a couple guys at my gym who treat fruit like the plague. They refuse to eat it strictly because of sugar. And these guys are nothing impressive physique wise.
