Post workout fueling

@franchise24 just take however much caffeine you need if you need 100mg great take that if you still feel groggy after take 200mg. I just wouldn't take more then 400mg cause that's as much as any top end preworkout has
 
I took some once and it was just over 400. Made me sick as shit. Couldn't even finish my workout.
I'd be sick off of that much caffeine for sure. I have Adderall I can always pop. But I only use those in the most extreme cases.
 
If you're not a stimulant guy (I'm not either) you might want to break a 200mg caffeine tab in half to start. I've been using them for years pw and 100mg is good enough for me...200mg makes me uncomfortable and I hate the come down afterwards. But I never consume any form of stimulants at any other point in the day year round. Ymmv

Cyclic dextrin or Gatorade powder plus protein powder (isolate) is my goto pre and intraworkout meal. Quick, cheap and easy to prepare and no stomach issues.

Yeah I'm not a stim guy either. This morning I had some dextrose, and whey with some watermelon. Then I ate a banana mid workout. I am going to get some caffeine pills. Hopefully I can find 100mg dosed pills. Enough I'll do like you said with the 200mg pills.

I'll never do it again. I once mixed my bcaa's up with preworkout (I only do half scoop of pre) and took a oxy elite in the morning then my "bcaa" all day and another preworkout in the evening. Once again sick. Didn't notice till I got home what I had did. It was over 1400mg of caffeine in one day. I try to stay clear of it for the most part now

5 hr energy work good too. Only 80 mg of caffeine and loaded with B-12

I buy the Jet Alert brand (Wal-Mart 90 count @200mg for $3.75) because they're shaped like a barrel vs most other brands the are round tabs because they're extremely easy to break exactly in 1/2 or 3/4 plus they're by far the cheapest. I just throw the remainder back in the bottle they hold together perfectly...never any loose powder by the time the bottle is empty.

Holy shit! Are you saying 90 200mg pills for 3.75?

I am a fan of the yogurt and granola. in the summer I also make overnight oats. If your not sure six tons of recipes online, basically same as hot oatmeal but it just sits in fridge.

But my go to in case I forget stuff is Gatorage Whey protein bars, about 20g protein and a bunch of simple carbs. taste like candy and goes down easy in car on way to gym with my coffee
 
Thanks for all the replies. Looks like coffee will be added to these ideas. I'm not a coffee person. But this is only for a bout 4 weeks that I'll be using coffee.
If you try coffee bro go with Starbucks it is by far the freshest coffee that I have been able to buy at a grocery store.
I'm going to give test base a go how do you dose it pw.
