Post workout fueling

My kids are in town. So I'll have to head out to the gym between 4:30-5:00am.

I need some suggestions on a quick absorbing post workout meal to give me the energy needed to get through my workouts.

I beat myself in to oblivion everyday at 0300. Coffee is a must. I always rotate meals to prevent boredom but my staples are:

Meal 1: 2 servings of high quality granola. That should yield about 35g of carbs a serving, 8g fiber a serving and around 10g of protein. 2 servings at once. I like Kashi brand
Meal 2: is a bit more dense. 1 large bagel covered in 2 servings of peanut butter and OJ

Both are light enough to not weigh you down but hearty enough to sustain high intensity work

I workout usually at 4am and I always do cold brew coffee with a scoop of whey, 1 cup of instant oats before workout (quick and easy) . Then granola mixed with Greek yogurt and another scoop of whey right after.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like coffee will be added to these ideas. I'm not a coffee person. But this is only for a bout 4 weeks that I'll be using coffee.

I've been doing the 5am workouts and only can sleep 4ish hours a night because of my current job and there is no other time I could workout. I take 200mg caffeine then eat 1 cliff bar and have half a protein shake with:
Cookies and cream protein
Greek yogurt
Peanut butter
Egg whites
Almond milk

That along with the cliff bar keeps me full for my workout but just don't drink too much of the protein shake so you don't feel queasy

Caffeine pills! I used to train at 5am and had to pop a caffeine pill along with coffee. Other than that I went with something quick and simple since it was get up, eat quick and train. Normally a banana and 3 hard boiled eggs (whites mainly) and about 60g sliced turkey

Caffeine pills will do the same. If you don't need the caffeine there's no reason to add it in.

I'm not big on stimulants and haven't used caffeine pills in a very long time. If I were to add some caffeine pills how should I dose it? Being that I haven't used them in a while.

How were your caffeine pills dosed?
