Westside VS The World

Here's the website, you can look into it some more...

westsidevstheworld

I'm very excited to see it, I hope it's as cool as the trailer makes it look! I really got interested in powerlifting as a kid after I came across an article in flex magazine that covered Westside.

I trained that way for a while although, anyone that says they train Westside method is actually training a completely bastardized version of it... Still, it's a highly effective way to progress IMO.

yeah, ive been waiting for it to come out for a while now.

yeah from alot of the guys ive talked to at my gym (we are a westside "certified" gym. one of very few in the world. not that i think it means much) Westside was and is very much a lifestlye along with a training methodology. and you needed to be under the close eye of Louie in order to be training "Westside".

a couple months back i watch an interview with Louie done by Joe Rogan that was entertaining to watch. give it a watch sometime. Louie cracks me up

That's awesome! I guess it would be pretty close to Westside but Louie is a big proponent of constantly changing things... You never know exactly what you're doing that day when you walk in the door. That kind of method is tough to replicate I think. When I watch the videos of him training guys, he just constantly changes things up.

I think I saw that one! I think he might have interviewed him more than once though. One thing I remember was Louie talking about gear use and stating explicitly that steroids don't make you stronger... Joe had a tough time letting that slide lol.

Yeah I think he has interviewed him twice. This interview in referencing all they did was talk AAS. He suggested that in this interview by saying it allows you to recover better and train harder more frequently. Both of which are true. But they can definitely make you stronger and keep you stronger if you train properly, is what I think he just trying to get at.
