"Green" shakes/smoothies

You guys ever tried "green" or kale smoothies, etc? I used to do them years ago, and now I've been doing them for about a week again. I've been come obsessed with adding *sulforaphane into my diet. I've been obsessed with inflammation and reducing it as a means to lower stress hormones, reduce cancer risk etc... Lemme know what you guys are doing for yours, if anything at all! I stole my recipe from Rhonda Patrick ( https://www.foundmyfitness.com/reports/micronutrient-smoothie.pdf) , but I prefer to eat the carrot and avocado outside of the shake for breakfast w/ my eggs:

8 large kale leaves (I use an entire bunch of curly kale)
4-6 rainbow chard leaves with stems
3 cups (~710 ml) of baby spinach (a large handful)
2 medium to large carrots 1
tomato 1 large avocado
1 banana
1 apple
1 cup (~710ml) of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
3 cups (~710 ml) of unsweetened flax milk (I use almond milk most of the time)

*Prophylactic effects of sulforaphane on depression-like behavior and dendritic changes in mice after inflammation

I'd take it easy on the fruit. Lots of fructose which can do a number on your lipids.

I'd add an extra lemon, make sure cucumber and carrot are in there for sweetness when to fruit is pulled out.

Add spices. Turmeric and ginger. Talk about lowering stress hormones and having a natural pain killer like effect.
That was my go to.

You should steam all cruciferous veg before consumption they can nuke your thyroid.

Not THAT concerned with the fruits in the AM, as I don't really eat carbs again until pre workout... I get where you're coming from. This shake was put together by a pretty well-respected Doc, so I have faith in it. So far, no noticeable sugar rush or fat gain.

That's a good smoothie you got.
I like adding raw cider vinegar, more lemon and if you haven't heard, celtic sea salt is great for the adrenals in the morning with all the extra sodium and minerals to take stress from the adrenic system.

It's like 6 bucks at whole foods for a big bag.

I miss my juicer. What brand did you get?

White salt has no minerals.

Salt needs to be either grey, pink, black or beige.

Celtic is grey. It's inexpensive and has a mineral content 20x to pink Himalaya salt.

I use the Ninja blender I got at Costco, it's great!
