Hell there's scientists working on finding a way & making it safe for humans to separate & use the gene that that big fucking bull has. If they can successfully do that I'll be the first dummy in line. My genetics are pretty average & my cousin is above average, he'll if he thinks about lifting he gets bigger lol (not really)

If figured I'd go with a 6, only cause I have low body fat but there's no way I have the genetic potiental to get as big as some of you guys.

Fairly average here too, a hair over a 7" wrist, so no major bonestructure to brag about.

Impressive vascularity even as natty and decent calves for my size would be main claims to any above average areas. And a full head of hair at 53.... ha ha ha. And 6' tall.

Several weaknesses too.

Maybe a 6 here too.

Does genetics play a factor when it comes to height? or do you mean the ability to surpass the average with whatever height you are

i come from a thick village bloodline

Well, it seems like 6' tall is a golden compromise - tall enough to be above average, which is good in general, and tall enough to carry some mass without looking boxy, but not so tall that muscle bellies and tendon attachment points get too far off - which seems to be the case with most 6' 2" and above guys. Genetic freak exceptions exist of course, but there's got to be a reason why Arnold is still the tallest ever Mr Olympia, whereas most other sports since that era have seen tall people do much better.

If you're really short and swole, people think you're compensating. Napoleon complex and all that.

I think genetics is bullshit. I was a tiny skinny shit when I was 20. Now I am much bigger. Thats why roids are made to go beyond your genetics. So there is no factor with them when you can change some of their makeup or the makeup of which they make you. If you are genetic to being fat you can diet and get skinny. GENETICS IS A POUR EXCUSE TO BE OK WITH YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL. Genetics are a HUGE factor in your success. Now, this doesn't mean you can't achieve a good physique with hard work, but, you're never going to be Mr. Olympia with garbage genetics.... If you don't think this is true, use me for an example. Genetically I have a wide back and huge shoulders, which is nice. I had those features even when I was a little kid. But, I've always had smaller biceps, no matter what. They can grow, but they'll never be as big (in comparison) to my shoulders or back.

I think I'm about a 5, pretty average genetics.

I agree with genetics being a factor. I am prone to being a fat short guy, with that being said, it takes me alot longer to achieve results compared to someone with lean muscle mass naturally with a high metabolism(Good Genetics). One thing I feel strongly about though, you work your ass off no matter what your genetics are, you will achieve great results. I started at 325lbs, 5'9" basically all fat, worked my ass off, dieted, and achieved a stacked 198lbs @ 5'9" in the span of 2 1/2 years. I also am a big believer in body types, endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph. I consider myself a endomorph, while being a little thicker fat wise, I can build muscle very quickly but also gain fat quickly. There are too many variables to include.

Yes genetics do play a role, for professionals. But average bodybuilders can get to where they want with hard work, and diet. (aas help too).

Honestly, I am not so sure.... Maybe. I know people who work HARD, eat right and cycle wisely who will never look the way they actually want to. Honestly, I think if you're ever totally satisfied, you have the wrong mindset for bodybuilding... You can ALWAYS be better.

I completely agree with @Wunderpus .... if you are truly into bodybuilding, you are never satisfied and always want more. For me, that is completely the case...there are always ways I can improve myself and things I can change to come close to set new goals.

Imma have to go with Double -0 on this one lol. My genetics are complete shit. Looking at my mom an dad, I wasn't blessed with shit. I fuckin kill myself to tryn force growth. The lil bit of mass I have was not given at all but earned. Some of you have seen my before an after pics. When I began this journey I was 100lbs. Took me years of training natty to make it upto 145. Then I decided after my gains started stalling out, it was time to begin. Now I easily set around 170 on my lightest days. My Avi is me at 185. I'm 5'4" btw for anybody who doesn't know me......

Because you're fucking Skull.... Your crazy ass isn't limited by hard work, you were baptized in it!

I respect people who work hard for what they have. Even on substances that help you along the way, you still have to bust ass to get results. I try to tell that to the ignorant human beings that think you take steroids your automatically big. Bodybuilding takes hard work and dedication, no matter the circumstances.

but wouldnt genetics be limited to a certain muscle in the body? for eg: one person could lack shoulders another could lack biceps, another could lack chest, calves, quads and so on... and they have to work extremely hard for growth and i dont mean lacking due to subtle exercise or not working that certain muscle enough but what i mean genetically weak in that certain area... the way i see genetics playing a major factor... is if all around every muscle in the body (Upper/Lower)is developing smoothly and rapidly, then yeah you are genetically strong aka above average which i still believe is extremely rare as i havent seen anyone with all around strong genetics in every department who is natty... i believe everyone has a muscle group weakness and has worked super hard via very hard training to have it keep up with the rest of his body... heck even the rock had issues with calves look where they are now

I agree with your point also. We all have our strengths. Like me, I have naturally big arms, and seem to grow them way faster than any other body part. You bust ass, results will come.
