Thanks for the input. I don't agree on the silly part simply because it's intent isn't for a battle rifle. It's more for a pack rifle and the fact I can use all the same mags from my 17 would be an added bonus.

I always look at weapons with a battle mindset

Not an arguement, just philosophy I guess:
Why carry a "large" pack rifle to cause pistol wounds? You can already cause pistol wounds with a smaller, easier to carry and easier to conceal pistol...

You don't gain anything from placing those pistol rounds through a Pack rifle except for maybe a little more velocity which will not effect the wound channel much differently because it is already pistol ammo.

I won't trust that ammo out of a semi-auto. The rubber tip sometimes jams in the feed lips. But in a revolver it is awesome!

Great guns and a good choice in ammo! FBI uses gold dots still I believe. Excellent penetration.

I use Cor-Bon DPX for ALL my weapons. I know that the ammo I choose is overpowered. Maximum penetration is my goal at all times.
