How many cops are in the US and how many actually do/witness this? It's a small percentage not rampant. The fact that he had to explain the socks being about rogue cops shows that it's a bad idea. He's a spoiled, spoon fed kid.

I can't give you a real number as to how often it does happen but I can safely say it probably happens much more often than you think and the larger the city with a larger low income population the more it happens. I've seen it happen more than once myself and many people I know have also seen it. When a profession is given as much authority and power as police are given there's very little room for corruption. Who gives a shit if your local McDonald's employee is dirty or your garbage man is crooked? But a cop has control over your freedom.

He may very well be spoiled and spoon fed but he is entitled to his opinion just like you and I are.
