The "iu" doesn't matter, it's all about the dilution.

So, if you have a 2mg vial and add 2mls (20iu on an insulin syringe), each iu is 100mcgs. Does this make sense? There are 10 insulin ius per ML.

You've lost me, as you don't measure them in IU, as it's solely dependent on how much you've diluted the powder.
