Arimidex causing oestrogen rebound?

Hi folks.. long time reader first time poster..I always thought I was better keeping my mouth shut and continue to educate myself before I started contributing. Anyway..I haven't come here to share any pearls of wisdom but I have come with a question instead.

I became very depressed mid blast (I'm on trt) of 750ml test a week and arimidex .25 eod about five months ago, as a result I stopped take everything including trt.For two months I had all the symptoms of low T until I restarted trt.

Now for the first time ever I've notice a subtle appearance in the of shape in my pecs, softer looking with a very subtle drupe. Is this simply because I haven't trained in five months? or could it be oestrogen related? oestrogen was kept under control on cycle, I got blood work to make sure, but is there such a thing as an oestrogen rebound caused by discontinuing arimidex, can all that oestrogen that was previously under control by adex suddenly come flooding back when adex is discontinued or was it never there to begin with due to the use of adex.

Please excuse my ignorance on the matter as arimidex is a drug that I still haven't got the measure of. Any help is much appreciated.

I think when you stop Adex , you get a E2 surge . Ive seen it on bloodtests a month after quitting Adex . But it goes back to normal shortly after . Hormones go up and down , thats what they do . Ive NEVER had 2 identical blood test results...

When you stop taking adex there is estrogen rebound , there isn't with aromasin , that's why I prefer aromasin .

Thanks for the feedback folks. My understanding of arimidex is that it reversibly binds to the aromatase enzyme, I suppose its the word reversibly that causes me concern, as though my sudden stoppage of test and armidex and no continuation of trt would mean my test levels would be very low,and because I also dropped the arimidex oestrogen levels would begin to rise, or could it be the case that my test was low so conversion to oestrogen would also be low even though I stopped arimidex, therefore no cause for concern regarding gyno?

This conundrum is melting my brain!

Of course estrogen levels will rise after discontinuing any AI and continuing TRT with an aromatizing compound (testosterone). This is what the body is supposed to do. A rebound though is a supercomposed effector this though and that just does not happen. Estrogen levels will always rise to the level they need to considering how much aromatizing hormone is in your body unless you're using something to stop the aromatization.

One can still get gyno even with low estrogen levels. No AI is going to prevent gyno if you're susceptible to it.

If you stopped it all at the same time, wouldn't your test still be converting? I always taper my ai. I don't have bloods to prove this but "seems" logical

Yeah it would still be converting for sure, but what I would have thought is as test levels drop so would e2 levels, and as I had e2 levels under control to begin with what would the chances be of an e2 spike considering I stopped all testosterone usage including trt.

Btw there's no glandular tissue or itchy puffy nipples going on.
