Hi all. I'm a newbie and decided in Dec last year to get off my fat ass and do something for myself maybe it's a mid life crisis lol I'm 57 5'10" currently 214 lbs. I was 229 in dec
Went down to 209 and gained 5 lbs in 4 weeks. Doing a cycle
I eat 1 cup egg whites and 4 oz of steak every morning
I eat every 2.5 hours. Mostly chicken. I do eat fish one meal everyday and I eat ground turkey.
Lots of veggies. I only eat 1 cup of jasmine rice a day divided between my meals. Also 2 of my meals I eat 1/2 avocado
Asparagus Green beans carrots
Doing well burning fat. Gaining some lean muscle. Wife is impressed anyway.

Prepared to get super fuckign tired of all that boring ass food. Variety is good, not jsut for your sanity but for your health. Also, eating every 2.5 hours is completely unnecessary and seems like it would be a huge pain in the ass for anyone with a life.

Actually I like it. Type of food isn't important to me. I get lots of veggies so on health side I think I'm ok. I'm losing fat slowly which is what I want. I have a great life. I'm a truck driver so I have a cooler. It might not be exactly 2.5 hours etween mes but I shoot for at least 5 a day. I guess everyone approaches things differently and that's why it works for some ur not others.
Enjoy your Doritos

I too thought I liked the monotony in having roughly the same meals everyday. Did it for abotu 1.5-2 years when I first started. Then I got so fed up with grilled chicken I didn't eat it for nearly 2 years. Maybe you won't but my point was don't be afraid to throw in some variety. Also, while you may eat plenty of vegetables, a diet lacking in variety has shown to be detrimental to gut flora, leading to digestion issues and inflammation. Again, not saying it will happen but it is something to look out for. Trucking jobs would work out great to eat every 2.5 hours but again it is unnecessary and was just providing you with info you could use if you felt like it.

BTW, I had buffalo wings with ranch doritos just the otherday and they were a fucking mazing. So, thanks.

Keeping the fats reasonable is a good thing, and how much training/exercise you get?
