I don't have anymore than 2 shakes normally, sometimes 3. Although my protein intake is 400g.I for one think protein supplements to be an evil you have to deal with. Use real food and supplement as a last resort.

Why 400?I don't have anymore than 2 shakes normally, sometimes 3. Although my protein intake is 400g.
Because you can synthesise more protein on gear. Why 400?
not that much. Majority of that protein is getting converted to glucose, but hey, if you like eating that much then go ahead. Just don't feel like you need to.Because you can synthesise more protein on gear.
Well when running over a gram of gear I feel like you need to. I've done a high carb, lowish fat and protein diet in the past and just looked Puffy, majority of lbs gained was water weight. Right now I'm 240lb and look the best I ever have at my size.not that much. Majority of that protein is getting converted to glucose, but hey, if you like eating that much then go ahead. I will admit that dropping carbs can give you a dry look. Low fat is always good when on gear cuz you don't need it for test production.Well when running over a gram of gear I feel like you need to. Yeah deffo. if you're natural then the best way to go would be a higher fat and carb diet. My carbs now aren't exactly low I still get around 500g.I will admit that dropping carbs can give you a dry look. Low fat is always good when on gear cuz you don't need it for test production.

It's also worth noting that these manufactures change formulas every few months or so, whether to ride trends or avoid these analytical tests. Bodyfortress changed isolate products three times in six months, and I'll be damned if I drink this new one that's all loaded with soy.
The cheapo BF whey concentrate has 18g out of 20g claimed. Does what it's supposed to do, for cheaper (and closer to advertised) than most everything else. Works for me and my budget.
And as for the OP: I wouldn't fuck with any of those pre mixed drinks, except in a pinch. Especially not one loaded with collagen.
True. My current bulking macros are 400p 150f 500c. I think that's a good balance especially on gear.Fats are for much more than hormones. Eye health, memory, joint lubrication.... not to mention all your cells are wrapped in 2 layers of fat.
The importance of fat is far overlooked in nutrition, IMO.

I actually wasn't fully aware of that. Thanks. Is it wrong to assume that my body has fat so if the damn thing wants fat it can use its own? I do take my 2 daily fish oils tho.Fats are for much more than hormones. Eye health, memory, joint lubrication.... not to mention all your cells are wrapped in 2 layers of fat.

yeah. I get kinda agitated when people try to claim carbs make them fat. its like, no either your calories are too high, or youre bloating from eating too much and that goes back to the calories or wet gear. Not really common for the body to convert carbs to fat. It just stores the dietary fat.Unfortunately if you feed your body carbs, it uses that as its fuel source instead of your body fat.
I wish the body worked like that!
As far as fish oil goes..... those doses are different. 6grams is what you want for your EPA and DHA benefits of memory. 8-12 is optimal, but anything over 4 gets pretty expensive in my opinion. Just eat my man!
You know your body better than anyone. Play around with your diet and find what you like and FEEL the best off.
and the only way those are going to be full is if youre not in a deficit. No need for all these ultra low carb diets unless its just for appetite. completely agree with ya.Yeah idk once your livers and muscles glycogen is all stocked up then it's shuttled off as fat.
But I hear you. People eat food that TASTES good not food that IS good. I don't eat for a diet, I like to eat for nutrition.
I can eat 400 calories of chicken and Brocolli and be full for hours.... I can eat 2000 calories of golden donut and be hungry when again when I wake out the front door.
this post ventured a little off topic, but i tried the watermelon at ralphs...probably the grossest shit ive ever ingested
