I have been gaining weight at about 4500kcal diet and my goal is to never stop growing. I am 6'3 196lb currently and train 3-4x a week heavy compounds and free weights. I am slowly not gaining as much mainly because I think im at my limit for this cycle (weighed 170 12 weeks ago). In any regard, my question is am I stressing over nothing in the mornings almost making myself sick to eat breakfast ?(just no appetite in the AM) You see I am never very hungry till lunch or later, is this affecting me in any way? can I literally not eat from waking until 4pm or so (work nights, wake up usually 10am-1pm/bed around 3-4am) as long as I eat heavy and generally mostly before bed? Thanks I am hoping that what you eat in 24h is what you eat and timing and even pretty much fasting in the morning wont affect me gaining weight (especially as I go into pct) thx bros

This is just personal experience. But I like to get something in when I get up. I used to not be hungry right out of bed (now im always hungry), so I'd have a shake. Or a granola bar. Banana. Something. Doesnt have to be a full meal, just some food.
Like I said, no science here. Just Jayscience.

You don't have to eat when you wake up. You can wait several hours or whatever till you're hungry. Just make sure that doesn't affect how many calories you take in total throughout the day. I often times won't eat until noon on lunch break and that's after being awake since 4:30-5am

I'd say as long as you get your cals in for the day, it's not the end of the world. I used to do IM where I would only eat between 2-10 pm every day and actually gained some solid weight doing it but I was stuffing my face for those 8 hours.

The only reason I don't like to wait is because cortisol levels are high and your catabolic as soon as you wake up. I think if fat loss is your goal it's not a bad thing but it's good to take at least some protein as soon as you wake. I know some beleive in intermediate fasting. I don't. And don't know anybody with a signifigant amount of muscle that does it. Just my two cents.

When I'm not feeling a meal in the morning I make a really calorie dense shake. I cook some oatmeal in the microwave then plop that shit in the blender, add two chopped bananas, strawberries if I got em, either natural peanut butter or PB2 depending on whether I have it or not, 4 scoops of muscle milk powder, then fill that bitch up with whole milk (if I have lactaid cuz I'm a lactose fgt) or almond milk. Over 1000-1500 calories or somewhere in that ballpark, can't remember.

Wake up and drink drink a glass of ice cold water
Breakfast fruit smoothies are the best in the morning just add protien powder that would blend easily with the taste of fruits. Should kickstart the body.
I drink coffee in the morning don't know if you do, but. I drink it after my meal because if I drink it before I won't have an appetite.

Ah, Gracie diet concepts. the fruit smoothies with protein powder just seem to go down easy, they help to hydrate also. Good point on the coffee, it does the same thing to me

The concept behind not eating in the morning is the fact that GH levels are the highest in the morning and post workout. I know people that delay eating in the morning and then delay post workout meal 3 hours or so, but still drink the pwo protein shake. Some of these guys are very muscle bound. Honestly, I think many of these concepts don't make a huge difference and the biggest thing is just overall intake in a given day.

Youve gained 26lbs in 12 weeks, thats good shit so what youre doing is working. I normally dont eat anything till pwo around 130pm, and thats a protein shake with a little carbs. Like doc said, meet your macros everyday and you will be fine. Do expect to lose some weight during pct, Im sure youre holding alot of water with that much weight gain.

I think those are realustic goals. Do you currently take creatine? If not start taking it at the start of pct. I took it post pct and it helped me out alot. You can get the cheap creatine monhydrate, I got 50 servings for 10 bucks.
