Carbs when cutting

When I am cutting I keep my carbs at 90g a day

My friend who is a big guy and experiments a lot said he does his carbs different every day when cutting..

He does 90g next day 120g next day 150g and repeats all over again and says its the best way for him!

I guess everyone is different so my question is... What's best for you to lose BF when cutting?

Yeh I just googled it and it didn't explain much.. What is skiploading?

Having a single day each week where you eat sugary processed carbs low fat and moderate protein. The other days are usually well balanced depending where you are with your meal plan etc...

I keep them moderate when cutting, about 200 grams a day. Some days are lower but if I go too low for more than a few days I start looking like shit and flatter than a pancake

Thanks, and have you tried it? How did you get on with it?

Yeh that's what I usually do but less carbs because I'm nowhere near your size

Just need to change it up abit see what else works well for me, I find it tuff to find the right balance, cheers

I have been using it since 2011. It works both on a cut or when you want to lean mass. I actually worked with skip for 6 months in 2011. He has a free dvd out if you google longevity. He goes into skiploading on it....

Thanks I will have a look at it

Your buddy is basically carb cycling. Alot of bodybuilders like this method and theres a ton of ways to cycle. Find a carb cycle you like and go for it.

Thanks and yeh he competes, he helps me out on things to do he gave me my diet also before I found this place...

yeh I'm going to start with the way he does it but with lower carbs as I'm not as big, I will see how it goes then if it's not right I will try another way.

Cheers

So, say sunday I can eat like candy poptarts etc? and the rest of the week I stick to my diet 100%?
Do you keep track of the calories?

This is very similar to the anabolic diet which I used early on.

I assume this by re-speeding the metabolism for another week of low amount of foods and energy sources?

Why wouldn't you want to keep track of calories? I mean, I understand "refeeds" but i've always counted calories.

Shit, if I can have a day of poptarts, ceral, bread, pancakes, sour candy, normal monster....fuck yeah.

I read up on it. and it's mostly a contest prep diet?

But it still can used to get lean as thats the point of the contest?

I didn't read anywhere on how many carbs you should eat. I just read, eat hi gi carbs, starchy carbs, sodium, and lots of water.
I'd probably just start my skiploading around 5? count carbs after i've eating everything and go from there?
I have been carb depleted for about a week on tren, and t3...i think this will add some fuel to the fire.

How much weight have you dropped with no carbs and being on teen?

As you know DD there are many ways to cut but for most it means diminishing TBF.

That being said two other substances contribute to an "uncut" appearance namely glycogen and total body water.

However both of these are important factors in our ability to WO for any period of time.

So really unless one is interested in competing, achieving a happy medium bt a cut and uncut appearance may be the best approach.

Bc. Skip loading is very versatile. I am not sure if u googled the free longevity dvd online. Skip put out several hours of footage. I was one of his clients and I am not a competitor. It could be used off season during season and contest prep. With respect to skiploading.

A suggestion if u decide to try it. Start slow. 3 hour window. Eat as much high processed carbs and moderate protein and minimal fat. Consume lots of water. Don't train that day or do cardio. The leaner u get the the longer your skiploading window will get. I was up to about 12 hours by the end of my recomp.

I've done the anabolic diet weekly Reffed with pretty good succes. My window was 12 hours.
For my first one, as I'm fairly lean all ready. I will go with a 6 hour window of eating, but take it slow and enjoy the food. I plan on drinking about a gallon? Gallon in a half?
What did he say about sodium and the skip loading?

I'll watch that DVD and get back to you.
