Hello, Does anyone know where I can get good quality powdered R-Alpha Lipoic Acid? Most state R-Ala but sell S-Ala. What is the best way to find out whether the active ingredient is R-a-lipoic? Can you recommend an inexpensive seller?

QSC sells alpha lipoic acid at $200/kg. Anyone know if it's R-Alpha or S-Alpha? Unfortunately, there is no laboratory test and QSC cannot provide any precise information. How do you recognize R-Alpha Lipoic Acid? The color or smell?
