Where are all the women at?

I love the idea of these forums but it seems most posts are from men posting about their partners.

Where are all the women at? I’m curious what women are or have run as non-competitor cycles to improve strength, body comp, energy and libido.

Woman here. I’d love to know what options you have explored as far as supplements go? What does your diet look like? Messing with our delicate hormonal balance is serious business and often irreversible for us (voice changes) and I would exhaust all other options before deciding to hop on any sort of cycle as a non-competitor, although it seems that Anavar is the most female-friendly option as far as anabolics go. It is not without its risks of course. I am petite and highly sensitive to what I put in my body and I fear that I’d be one of those ladies who experienced all of the sides, which would outweigh any benefits for me personally. I love taurine for strength, and maca or ashwaganda for libido. For energy, good old fashioned sugar is enough to fuel me, better than any preworkout/caffeine. I metabolize sugar very well so the calories are worth it for me. I’m looking into microdosing test for HRT as I believe I am entering perimenopause territory. It’s not something I take lightly and it’s strictly to improve my quality of life though. Whatever gains are to be had from that are purely an added benefit.

Thanks for the reply! Nice to see you here. I agree with you fully, and we're on the same page about a lot of the supplements (and sugar). To answer your questions about what my current protocols look like:

Supplements: (I'm assuming you mean things available over the counter)
- Taurine and creatine daily
-Nonstim pre-workout (prefer my caffeine from coffee)
-Magnesium for sleep support
-Ashwaganda to manage stress
-Others to fill in gaps when lacking in nutrition or taking certain peptides, but not necessarily daily: Vitamin C, methylated B vitamins, TMG, fish oil, iodine, CoQ10, bioquercetin... I'm sure I'm missing a few

Diet: high carb, moderate protein, lower fat
Morning - fruit only + coffee / espresso
Noon - some sort of protein supplement (Greek yogurt, protein shake)
Early afternoon - vegetable and protein meal
Dinner - vegetable, starch, protein meal
If I need snacks I'll do hard boiled eggs, brazil nuts, more fruit
Most likely some sort of dessert (not some BS like Halo Top)

Peptides:
-low-dose GLP for appetite support; prefer reta generally but tirz seems better for inflammation so i'll rotate between them sometimes
-bpc / ghk-cu for inflammation
-ta-1/thymulin for immune support
-will rotate others in and out , I've used GHRH/Ps in the past

Similar to you I'm planning to start low-dose test c (3mg/week) and HGH (2iu) primarily for general wellness and recovery, energy, libido, etc. although I am hoping it will also support body comp, in particular muscle preservation and overall leanness. I'm already low body weight, low bf % so I don't really need fat loss. I also have anavar available and I'm considering a short cycle of it to support muscle growth, but only at very low dose and short duration (at which point it may not be worth it anyway).

Much appreciated! Our diets are very similar. :) Please keep us (me) updated if you decide to hop on that short var cycle, I’m really curious about the potential of a low dose (and I’m also here for the ride if you wish to detail your experience on low-dose test, too.) Sorry I can’t really contribute much to the discussion you started, I’m mostly here to learn. Still relatively new to all of this.

I agree Tirz was better at inflammation reduction but I still stick to Reta because I have fewer sides overall. I did add Kpv for inflammation and it has been fantastic.

I want to start HGh but need to do bloodwork first and keep procrastinating doing that.

They are pretending to be guys so they don't get flooded with dick pics.
That's funny, most chickposters are just gay dudes hoping to get flooded with dick pics.

At what dosage? In your experience has the reduction in inflammation been systemic or did the KPV work better locally near your injection sites?

There are several sites like PrivateMD these days where you can order your own blood labs and leave your doctor out of it. If the hGH is too daunting you could start with one of the GH secretagogues.

Took first dose of Test C today, will do bloodwork in 2 weeks and again in 6 weeks when I should hit steady state. 3mg/week split to 2 doses.

500mcg has worked great for me and been systematic, seems like many of the bumps and bruises have less pain when taking it. I believe I started at 300mcg but I start everything really low.

I plan on going with fitomics and do them all myself but I just keep procrastinating doing it. I’ve taken tesa/Ipa but I bought a blend and I am waiting on individual ones as I want to dose tesa higher. I didn’t really notice anything from them but only ran 4 or 5 weeks.

Smart. I've been sitting on a stash for a while but only started to see consistent user reports in the past couple of weeks. Thanks

I keep hearing they're cheaper but I couldn't figure out how to order custom panels on their site. If you have time, post your overall experience with them here on Meso once you get it all done.

I have a whole write up of my experience with KPV on here, have done that with a couple of peptides I’ve ran because I couldn’t find much when researching them.

You have to pay for the membership at fitomics but their pricing for testing is a lot lower so still cheaper.

Checking in with an early update: after 2 weeks on 3-4mg/week Test C, I had bloodwork already scheduled - Test increased from ~12-14 to ~80 (this was about 24 hours after a dose). This is right about where I want to be so I will not be increasing my dosage, and will be more precise with staying at 3mg/week. I'll get more bloodwork in a month when I should reach steady state at this dose. For some reason my GP did not order Free test or SHBG, so I will be sure to add those in for next round.

I've also added 1iu GH in AM only and will work up to 2 iu. Waiting for IGF-1 results.

Lastly I am starting a short cycle of var at 2.5mg/day with the goal of recomp. I don't want to run it more than 6 weeks straight, so we'll see if it has any effect in that time. If it goes well, I'll take 6 weeks off and then do it again.

Overall feeling good, but will wait for 6-8 weeks of consistent use to give a real review.
