TSA: Freedom to Travel Legislation – Tenth Amendment Center

Wow, TX starts then stops and now starts again the TSA pat down legislation. The stop occurred when Obama and his administration threatened TX with shutting down air travel to the state. Wellllllll.....

Now a number of states, including TX, have added similar legislation in a slap in the face to an administration which has no right or power to make such a threat.

When Obama threatens, people laugh. Let the games begin.

The House stayed one day longer to consider two remaining bills and sent a minor judicial finance bill to the governor. But they failed to pass the so-called anti-groping bill that would have outlawed enhanced pat-downs by federal airport screeners unless they have reasonable suspicion that someone is carrying contraband.

The fight is not over. And those idiot lawmakers who stymied the effort are beginning to tap dance faster than a barefooted Michael Flatley on a hot bed of coals. The careers are on the line and likely over. They were not prepared for the immense backlash. Still, with 11 other states taking up the same type of bill, it won't be long before the people get the fevah! A battle lost because a few pols folded like cheap suits. Still, Texas stood up to Obama and if it were not for these nitwits we would have spit into Obambi's face. Alas, that will have to wait for another day.
