What should one do while waiting for endo/uro?

Hey all. I realize that waiting for the endo/uro/specialist is a universal HRT problem, but can you do anything to alleviate the symptoms of hypogonadism in the mean time? Should I bother working out, even though I don't seem to be able to put on any more muscle? I'm 5'10, 150lbs, ~12% BF. I have been working out 3 times/week (with a 2 week break every 3 months) with compound exercises (squats, deads, bench press) but I have plateaued in almost every respect. I'm not sure if working out is even beneficial anymore.

What should I do to maintain or improve my condition while waiting for HRT?

Mmartin, personally I think you should continue to work out. I also think your compound exercises are the way to go, if you keep the volume and intensity reasonable. I did my workouts for years with either low-normal or below normal test levels, and I did make some progress. If you think about it, women make progress in the gym, and their testosterone levels are very low, probably much lower than yours. And there are other benefits to exercise besides increased muscle mass. Hang in there, bro!

Yes, diet and exercise are the staples of Anti-Aging Medicine. Hormonal modulation is a distant third, although it is what most want to concentrate on.
