Drug Bust Leads to the Arrest of Major Player in Local Drug Trade

[SIZE=-1]The Kenova Police Department issued a search warrant after a two year investigation at the residence of David Adkins at 924 Walnut St. Police say Adkins in known as "Nose" on the streets. The two year investigation included numerous drug buys from the residence and numerous hours of surveillance. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Kenova Police seized more than $3,139 in cash and about $10,000 in assorted prescription pills and steroids, a 1998 Honda Accord, a 2001 Ford Explorer, H & K .40 handgun, and a computer used to track sells. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Police believe Adkins has roughly 12 people working for him and more than 300 people, stretching from Michigan to Florida, who buy drugs from him. Police found that Adkins was also using mail order prescriptions from a medical corporation in Pennsylvania as well as doctor shopping. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Adkins is charged with seven felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver with other state and federal charges pending. [/SIZE]
