USA Discounted Blood work

I just got done doing Labcorp labs for my trt doc and noticed on the report that there was an additional column with my previous results for any test that was same as the tests my doc ordered. First time I’ve seen that on a Labcorp report. It didn’t mention who ordered them so the doc doesn’t know they are from Fitomics but they were. I think he though they were from his orders as all he said was your test level was is really high but not as high as last time when it was over 1500z
This is a fuckin problem... a big one at that!

How do I prevent them from seeing this? I don't want any doctors or any hospitals or Insurance to have access to the shit I privately pay for and seek treatment personally out of pocket. This is ridiculous.

I'm trying to go underground and stay underground for a reason here

Switch labs.

If your clinic uses Quest, test at LC.
vice versa.

Fitomics has both available.

Unfortunately, its the stupid medical system. The only way we have been able to figure out how to obfuscate this is to order under a pseudonym or use a smaller independent lab. Both LC and Quest are part of the LabPiQture network.

@Photon apparently like @DonLigero said they both release all your data/results.

This sucks. So it dosent even matter what website I order my labs from? They will all show my results to the evil corporations?

Can you all provide some more detail on this? Does it show up automatically in your physicians electronic health record system? For instance if my doctor's office uses EPIC do they see it with your other results?

Usually to get outside records in EPIC they have to actively pull it using a function called "Care Everywhere".

Use a different lab than the one your provider uses.

With my DP from yesterday my Clinic used LC but still pulled Quest results. Looking at my insurance portal it seemed that insurance pulled from Quest and then the doctor likely got it when they connected into insurance.

It's a discount for your lab tests 25% off. Test requisitions at labcorp are good for 180 days, so I buy 6months worth.
Wow didn't know you could buy it In advance. Might have to jump on board. Do you have to lock in a specific date? Or can you just buy the bloodwork and have 180 days to pick a date? I'd so I might have to do this as well

No date required. Just hold onto the requisition until you are ready to schedule an appointment or do a walk-in.

any idea if (a) fitomics would be willing to change names on existing requisitions and (b) if labcorp will let you use their services if your requisition name doesn't match your ID? having my ugl labs pulled if I apply for life insurance seems not ideal

I’ve drawn bloods at lab corp 10-12 times in the past year and they have never asked to see ID so as long as name and birthdate you make appt with matches req you should be ok. Not sure if Fitomics will let you change that but they are very responsive via email so that’s probably the fastest way to get an answer to your question

I wonder if it could be as simple as using initials.
Instead of John Smith you could just use John S. on the form.

The labs I did at DrSays did not turn up in my LC portal, i never figured out why either. Makes me wonder how they are matching accounts.

The labs i do through Fitomics never show up in my Labcorp portal unless i send them email asking them to put them there. I have no idea why as the info matches what’s on my portal
