UK Police Took Hard Drive

Hi,

I've just this min got an email from my old supplier, whom I've not brought anything from for over a year. He says the police have taken his hard drive. Now my email address is on that hard drive! Is there anychance of the Police knocking on my door or would my ISP deny them my full detials?

Does your e-mail address hook back up to you? Did you use your real name in the creation of the account? There is a reason that people use the e-mail systems that we do. If your name is Bill Fredericks and you set up a cyber, hush, zip, etc. acount with the e-mail addy of Whoknows@.... then how could they connect that to you?

Yeah I was a dumb ass and it was my real name at aol.com it was when I was first starting out. The guy also sent mass emails to all his customers, and theres alot that have used real names. I don't know but I thought that the ISP had a duty to protect the real identity of their customers. I literally brought one tub of debol off the guy.

This may be a little drastic but what if I brought a new hard drive and totally smashed the shit out of this one and made it disappear? Or would they only need the fact that emails have come from my email address? Also I've not got anything at the house roid wise. I don't know, I'm thinking out loud but if there is nothing here then surely they can't do anything?

when my old supplier got busted i just cleaned house computer,gear anything with email addys on it was gone and i just sat and waited nothing happned and was good to go i was worried i had a order placed with him at the time he got busted

what country you from if from UK your safe as its only illegal to sell not to buy steriods. The best thing is just make sure you dont have any stuff and deny all knowldge i cant see any action been taken or it standing up in court if the police havnt got any hard evidence. Next time be more carful.

Yeah I'm in the UK. I've got nothing in the house at all. And believe me, next time it's going to be like a secret service mission when I buy some riods.

you dont need to worry
1. Like i said UK law states that its not illegal to pocess. If they cathc you with a large amount than they will take it that you are going to deal.
2. The police in the UK i belive are not that concered about the use of Steriods christ the amount of police offices i konw are on them.

I personally wouldnt worry at all

Thanks to everybody for their time and advice, put my mind at rest. I dont mind admitting I was shitting a brick when I got that email from him. Havent heard anything from him since, hopefully he wasnt stupid enough to keep any sort of records of sales.
