Tyson Gay tests positive for banned substance

American 100-meter record holder Tyson Gay has tested positive for a banned substance and says he will pull out of the world championships next month in Moscow.

Gay isn't revealing the substance, but he says he was notified by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency on Friday that a sample came back positive from an out-of-competition test May 16. He says he will have his "B" sample tested soon.

Athletes that test positive should at a minimum be given some type of advantage for their handicap. WADA needs to take notes, they could certainly learn a thing or two from the DEA.

Performance enhancing drugs - means that they are some drugs that help you increase your performance.It is obvious from theyr name.That is theyr definition..

Also it would mean that, in this instance for example, Tyson Gay is an idiot, if he is taking a substance that is banned, if that substance does not bring any benefit.

Of course it is not all about the drug, it is not a miracle pill/injection that will just turn you into a champion without you working for it.And of course everyone is taking some sort of PED, so iven the term cheating is debatable...

But PED definitely help.They give you a boost..
