TUDCA and bilirubin

Using TUDCA causes me to have elevated bilirubin. I haven't been able to find any information on why this occurs. Has anyone else noticed this while using TUDCA?

It’s prevents cholestasis, you likely had a liver bile back up issue and the tudca is freeing this up causing an increase in bilirubin to be visible on bloods . Tudca in many studies has shown no change to bilirubin levels though, so it likely could be an individual response.

Maybe. But this happens even off peds, and I don't use orals. My blood work is otherwise very good. I just figured that if I have this response then someone else might too, even if it's rare.

Friend look into Gilbert's syndrome, elevated bilirubin levels.. Most of the time harmless but when in my youth I would get yellow around the mouth..

It gets worse if you fast... When I do intermittent fasting, lets say eat from 12pm to 4pm for a while I get yellow again lol.. Funny enough accutane is proven to get bilirubin to normal levels.. It did for me at just 20mg/week + skin benefits.. Something to look into friend :)
