TRT Follow up Lab Tests

I've been on Androgel a little over 2 weeks and I think it's time to do some follow up and find out what's happening - because there is nothing happening where I want something to be happening (continued low libido and ED). My wife is ready to go hire a gigalo to fill in for me and I really would not want that to happen because she is quite the foxy lady. :D

Dr Marianco was kind enough to put a list of recommended follow up tests in another thread.I was hoping someone who has already been through this could provide the Lab Corp test numbers so I could get a lab slip from my own DR and get moving on the road to wellness here. I'm hoping somebody has a copy of a lab corp slip they can just copy the numbers from.

Here were the recommended tests:
A basic set of follow up labs to help determine what is happening with testosterone replacement includes:

Total Testosterone
Dihydrotestosterone
Estradiol
Free T3
Cortisol AM
DHEA-s
Fasting glucose

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

You should not have started anything until you got your baseline tests. Sice you are on Androgel less than two week, it may be wise to stop it, wait about a month and get thoroughly tested.

Tests to run

add thyroid and adrenals profile
TSH
FreeT3
FreeT4
Thyroid peroxidase antibody
Thyroid antiglobulin antibody

DHEA
cortisol (4x/day)

Desirable ranges

Post test results on this board, many smart buddys will help you.

I did have a baseline Total T of less than 200. That's what prompted the treatment. Of course after reading some of the posts on this board a total T reading really doesn't give you any kind of picture of what's going on. I do feel better (stronger, more alert, more overall energy) since starting on the Androgel - just not back to my former self.
