I'm sure your Military Doc could reffer you out to a Endocrinologist. You won't get kicked out of the military if you truely need TRT and are perscribed it by a Physician.

We have a saying in the Army:

"It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission".

Just kidding.

If you are legitimately diagnosed with hypogonadism, then there should be no problem. Just be honest about it.

My hypothyroidism was diagnosed when I was in boot camp. They didn't kick me out. Just know that I was in the Navy and that was 1975. Things may have changed.

Hypothyroidism is not a diqualification from Service. You'll just have to take synthroid the rest of your life. At least the military pays for everything.

As a former military doctor, the test is whether or not you will "fall out" if your medication supply suddenly ran out.

As a former member of an elite unit, I can tell you that this is because falling out in the field not only gets you killed, it gets your entire squad killed.
