Is this like a new thing? So a troll will start posting dumb stuff on my posts. Then all a sudden every one of my followup posts are invisible until a moderator reviews it. But the troll can keep posting away?

The thread you are referring to was discussing benzos. This type of discussion will flag posts left and right for auto-moderation since this isn't a forum about recreational psychoactive drugs with high potential for abuse.
