I'm sure I'm not the only person who's ever had this problem. I've been training for a couple of years now, and feel that I'm ready for my first cycle. I've done LOTS of research on cycles and post-cycles.

BUT

I'm totally freaked out about injecting myself. I'm not even sure I can do it. I'll probably get all nervous, shaky and maybe even nauseous.

Any suggestions on how to work through this problem??? I'm just a total pussy, I guess. I've never been good at getting stuck, even at the doctor's office.

Thanks in advance for your patience. I'm serious about this, please don't totally abuse my ass for asking about this.

i can understand you apprehension as i, too, was very needle-shy in the beginning. the first few times i turned ghost-white, got the cold sweats and my stomach felt sick. yeah, i know, i'm a pussy too.... lol

here's what i did. i had my wife show me how to inject subcutaneously in the abs as she had the experience, having injected herself many times with b12 for her chronic fatigue. i did a dozen of these shots in the abs then i switched to delts for a few more. i used 29g insulin pins. then when i felt more comfortable i switched over to injecting deca with the insulin pins - it took forever to shoot... then i switched to 25g and 23g. my point is, you will get used to it. it may take a few shots, or even a couple of dozen, but i promise you, you will get used to it. move through the fear and you'll see that it's not insurmountable. and stop being a pussy!!! j/k lol... hope this helps bro.

Yeah Im the same as Chip when he started, but didnt do the low gauge needle thing. Back then there was just 21 and 23 available, and I used a 21 in my glute - looked like a nail to me back then. It's rough the first few times, but after a while it's no trouble, especially if you use 25g for quads and delts, and 23g for glutes.

Its not that bad bro. I think everyone is a little timid at first, but you get used to it after awhile. Once you start to see your physique changing you actually start to look forward to your injections. I like to stick myself slow so the for me the hardest part is breaking the skin. Once thats done I don't feel a thing and the needle just glides right in. Just make sure that you ALWAYS practice sterile injecting techiques, i.,e., cleansing all sites and top of vials, noncontaminant needle sticks, etc. You can't stress enough the importance of sterility. Always do your homework too bro. Do plenty of research before you start using any hormone. Always ask for advice as well. There are no dumb questions. Hope this eases a little anxiety and good luck.

Several years ago, I needed to give myself injections for about a month. I remember the fear I felt and I wasn't sure if I could do it. The fear ended about five seconds after I gave myself my first shot. I was surprised that I really couldn't feel anything in that part of my ass. Once the needle is in, just remember to inject slowly and pull the needle out a little bit after inserting it at least an inch. I'm a complete newby as far as injecting steroids, but should be pretty painless.

if you feel taht nervous and hesitant about shooting, then mentally you are not ready...dont hurt yourself, might pass out, or something

once you are so hungry to get huge and so eager become a juice monkey, you will shoot that shit without thinking...

just wait, until you really want to, you will be sick of waiting and being scared, tahts what i did....one day i got up and said fuck this i wanna grow and shot my ass.

i dont agree with this as you'll probably be using 1" or 1.5" needles. pulling a 1" needle 1" out, well that'll leave you without a needle in you :) . pulling a 1.5" need le 1" out, well that just wont do because you want to go deep into the muscle.

get some needles. leave the protective cap on the needle!! now practice with it. you'll want your hand positioned on the syringe so that the needle will not get completely buried. you'll always want to see a little bit of metal. 1/8" or even 1/4". dont hold the needle like a dagger that you're trying to kill a pig with. hold it firmly but gently.

now, we'll be doing quad shots as thats the easiest, i feel, for a newbie. stand straight at attention with palms at your side(it helps if your pants are down). the area that your palm covers is the area you want to shoot. now sit down. you could leave your palm on your leg as you sit so you remember the site. so now your quad is horizontal to the floor. disect your leg in two...top and bottom. good. now forget the bottom. all you see is the top half. now disect that again. so now you have an upper top half and a lower top half. you want to shoot in between. once you poke, hold the syringe with one hand, and pull back on the plunger just a bit. if you see air bubbles, proceed with injecting sloooowly. about 15 seconds per cc. if you see blood when you pull out, remove pin and hit a slightly different spot.

now, other than sterilty, you're all done :D ! simple...no? MAKE SURE YOU KNOW AND FOLLOW PROPER STERILE PROCEDURES!

as for the mental part...there is no pain. maybe a slight pinch....maybe. dont put the needle against your skin and try to slowly break through. push it in with the right amount of force from the get go. so see...we just did it in make belief land. now all you have to do is shoot the same way in your real world.

believe all of us that have said we were nervous...scared shit. most of these guys, me included, get so used to it, that we actually look forward to shooting. and if you shoot...this chick will blow you ;).

have a nice day

Joe Shmoe,

I've learned a lot from you the past month. Regarding pulling the needle out a little bit.... I thought that was needed to make sure that no blood would come out from hitting a vein.

Data

i think there might have been some mis-communication here. i might have misread/misunderstood your post.

when doing quad shots with 2cc or more, after inserting the needle all the way, i inject half of the oil in the syringe. then i pull the needle out a bit...about 1/2" because i use 1.5" pins...and shoot the rest of the oil in the syringe. no matter what i shoot in my quads, i always get a little knot in there....and i've read of others complaining about this too. so, by pulling out a bit, there is less oil all in one spot. you kind of spread it around a bit...sort of speak.

to check if you hit a vein, we aspirate. that is, after fully inserting the needle, you leave the needle where it is and pull back on the plunger a bit as opposed to pushing down on it. if you draw anything but blood, you're OK to shoot. if blood comes back when you pull back on the plunger, then withdraw and hit a slightly different spot. you're probably in a vein.

sorry if i misunderstood your post. i understood/misinterpreted it as "pull the needle out 1".

my goof :)

have a nice day

4mg of XANAX will do the trick... trust me you won't feel a thing and you probably won't remember anything either :D
