Tirz vs Reta

Friend of mine is on Tirz and having a hard time with it. She's on a low-ish dose and struggling with nausea and a complete inability to eat at times. I'm wondering if Reta wouldn't be a better choice.
I also struggled with the nausea. I was able to eat but I had to make a serious point of it. Reta from my experience does not suppress appetite the same way Tirz does.

its a very hard discussion to have because there's so much nuance along with individual pros and cons. I have an appetite that is relentless, semaglutide works the best for making it be near 0 but I feel like complete trash on it. Reta is whatever, I go from eating off plan every day to eating off plan maybe twice a week and I feel completely fine after an initial 4-6 daydiarrhea phase regardless of dosage. You obviously know her and we don't but I dont really think reta will work for the general population that isnt above "normie" level of fitness where food noise owns almost everyone. You could always tell her to change up her frequency of pinning ie 1mg mon 1mg thurs.

If you start with Tirz, you will notice less appetite suppression with Reta. Had you started with Reta, you would have noticed some appetite suppression too, even if it is not as strong as Tirz.
this prob should have been the first comment. with the above in mind, you can also titrate the Reta up slowly until you hit a dose that is effective. it’s not uncommon for Tirz experienced folks to have to go way up to 6, 7, 8 or more mgs until they finally get any perceivable benefit out of it in terms of food noise or appetite suppression.

as mentioned, had to started on Reta first, you likely would have had a much different experience.

Any benefits to just mixing the two at different ratios for different goals?

I personally prefer tirz for appetite suppression and feel like I’ve had better results off tirz.

But at the same time if you go straight from tirz to Reta I don’t think youl get the same appetite suppression due to receptor sensitivity.
I feel you would need a good 4-6 weeks off the GLPs. I found Reta would make me more hungry for healthy foods but then fuller a lot quicker.

I’ve heard a lot of people add a little cagri to Reta for the appetite suppression. Cagri works on the amalyn receptor so is also a good alternative when cycling off a GLP . I’ve used cagri when I’ve been off a GLP And if I’ve needed extra suppression when on a GLP on for a random week for example- I’ve never taken cagri longer than 3/4 weeks

Tirz 100% blunts appetite better for me but that’s not always want you want. I’m taking a low dose of Reta and bulking slow at the same time. Next to 6IU GH, my appetite is good and I’m basically adding no fat to my body (it appears).

I keep a stock of tirz anyway for the cut down the road.
