Testing - AAS, Solvents, Carrier Oils, Colors, Impurities, Contaminants, Oxidation

In light of multiple discussions happening in source threads regarding oil color, oxidation, impurities, PIP, fevers, acne etc, I'm starting a thread to try to collate together resources, references and discussion regarding Jano testing of AAS. In particular to discuss what can and cannot be learned from different form of testing and how other solutions might apply (e.g HS-CRP bloodtests). Edit: Corrected to HS-CRP, not HC-CRP

Feel free to refer people to this thread when discussion gets off topic (or circular) on source threads. Hopefully this can become something useful and maybe get stickied in time.

Would have to ensure that other organics in the matrix do not interfere or create a baseline with known high purity carrier oil.

Fyi.

Educational for international cheap gear. Wouldn't waste my time for domestic labs using the good MCT/Mig 812. You can look up peroxide value and other specs on the manufacturer COA for that carrier oil.
