Test for Women

A lot of men I have talked to say it's not good for women to use test. I know that a lot of doctors are prescribing test to women in menopause and to increase libido. I'm not interested regarding those uses, but more interested in it as a supplement for a female bodybuilder. Is it acceptable for a fbb to use, and if so, how does one determine which product to use and what dose?

I feel that this thread belongs in the women's forum instead of hormone replacement therapy...There is a lot of detailed information out there for female AAS users.

Injectable Testosterones are probably not the best choice for you to make. I would recommend something much milder, such as Anavar. As I stated above..I feel that this forum will net you the best results overall and will answer your questions with the proper attention that will be specific to your needs..

Take care,

Thanks, Phreezer. How is everything with you? Hope that your holidays were happy and that you are feeling better.

hello Muscle girl, to add my two cents worth- clen. would be a good choice because by definition it is not a steriod (it surpresses your cortisol levels) also, Winny tabs are good-stay away from the injections though. And I know that some people may argue this but for MOST women, not all, 25mg a day of Dbol would be safe for adding muscle and strength and not having to worry about virilization (not 25mg of Dbol by itself of course). Stay away from straight test like eth. or sust. though, this will cause problems and throw your hormones out of whack. Regardless of what you take though if you start to experience virilization STOP!!! don't worry about losing your gains, it's better than messing up your hormones and having to shave your face. Stop with the AS and continue/start with Clen. and creatine.

Clenbuterol is classified as an anabolic substance, but you are correct: it is not a sex steroid. Basically, it reduces catabolism of muscle protein, not by suppressing cortisol. In fact, studies on the relationship of clenbuterol and cortisol are not conclusive; one demonstrated increased cortisol secretion due to hyperactivation of the adrenal glands, the other showed no increase, but not a decrease, either. The contradiction may be dosage dependent.

However, the doses required for anabolism are more than what humans can safely tolerate (cardiac stimulation). Additionally, the anabolic effects of clen diminish to nill over a period of 14 days.

Clen is more useful for last-minute fat reduction immediately prior to a competition than it is for muscle hypertrophy (increasing muscle mass).
