Swale ? on hair loss products

I've been on proscar for about 3yrs, and the results have been real good. I'm 43 and it seems to be harder to get that last bit of lower ab fat off when cutting. I would like to start a topical treatment. Have you heard any thing possitive about Avacor (as seen on tv) it's FDA approved?? if that means anything. Any suggestions. Thx..............11

In their ads and commercials, they claim their product grows vast amounts of hair in less than an hour. They even provide before/after pictures. When someone uses such a sleazy tactic, I simply am not interested in their product.

Avacor is basically repackaged minoxidil at a ridiculous price. I believe one of the news magazine programs did an expos not too long ago. Seems this Dr. Gordon guy endorsing the product had no current medical license.

I know that SWALE isn't a fan of 5-alpha reductase inhibitors but, I've had good results with Avodart

Probably most men do not suffer serious side effects from finasteride use. But enough do to make me not prescribe it.

Thanks for posting that mate.

I already carry many of those symptoms and have been with me since Testicular Cancer.

They seem quite tolerable.

My sperm count and ejaculate volume is pretty much NIL anyway.

I've had ED for quite some time now also.

If it's going to slow down the process of me losing my hair, I'll try it regardless.
