Strength Training / AAS

As a competitive racquetball player I was wondering if some of these products would help build strength. I am 38, about 200lbs and I need to drop about 15lbs. The sport is anaerobic but the matches can last up to an hour, so there is a aerobic component. Core and leg strength are CRITICAL. I have to retrieve balls that can reach speeds of 80mph (or dodge them).

I dont need to bulk up but adding some mass is not a bad thing. I play 3 to 4days a week and compliment this with light workout (upper body and core) 2 to 3 days a week.

Any insight would be appreciated or if there is a previous thread..

Thanks.

Bump for more info!! I think my brother is in the same situation, My brother is a comp. handball player and plys for 2hrs matches several times a week. He is about 6'0" @ 185. He has very stong legs(can squat 275 for reps) from being a comp bicycle rider in the past. He does not need to lose any weight but he is a very hard gainer(other than legs) when it comes to strength(can only bench 135). He has no need or desire to use AAS!! I am trying to help him build strengh and maybe lose a couple of pounds of fat(Guestimate @ 12%). He works out with me a couple time a week and has been for about 6-8months and his bench has always stayed about the same. He eats about 4-5times a day and I believe he takes in enough calories. I tried different workouts with him but can't seem to get im any stronger or more muscular. What am I missing?
