So many questions...

Here's the situation: I don't want to rapidly put on 30 pounds of muscle then lose 10 of it. I just want a solid increase of 15 to 20 pounds of muscle over a gradual time period (like 10 weeks). I want to really increase my strength. I also want to minimize estrogen related side effects and while I plan on taking 2.5mg femara/eod and will have nolva on hand, I still don't want to take the chance. I'm willing to give up possible liver damage to do this. So, I was thinking weeks 1-10 would be 400mg/wk of equipoise for some solid mass and a little strength. For better strength gains I was thinking 30mg/ed of halotestin for weeks 1-4 (with milk thistle). Of course, PCT would be followed after this. While everyone says some form of test should be the base of any cycle, given the situation, can I leave it out and still achieve what I want?
Guys, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all of my questions.

dude....forget about most cycles without running test. i mean, if you are planning on injecting eq, why not inject test. enanthate is only 2 shots a week. i mean, you could run that cycle, but everyone will tell you not to. you arent gonna gain 30 pounds rapidly...you would need to eat an unbelievable amount of food every day. try a test/anavar or a test/eq or something like that. your demands are a bit too specific, but wont be impossible to attain. just wait on some replies from the more experienced and see what they have to say. Im on test enth and dbol and its great. by using arim ed its keeping bloat to a minimum and my strength gains are VERY noticeable...a bit more vascular too. good luck

I think test is something your going to have to use to attain your goal. Try a test and eq stack and see what happens. Your going to have to watch your diet and really eat all the good food you see in sight. Good luck

Sounds like reasonable goals... For someone who trains properly and knows how to eat... and is natural.

From your post you have minimal experience with steroids and are probably way below your genetic maximum. At your stage, if you can't gain 15 - 20 pounds naturally, you haven't learned what you need to know about training and eating.

However, it appears you want the easy way so continue to do some research on AAS usage and dosages and then make up your own mind and do it.

Presumably you're already read the stickies at the top and have discarded the advice of seasoned veterans. What more do you want us to say?

Good luck,

Stats...

You're right, I'm not at my genetic limitation. Yet. I've been lifting consistently since November of 1998 and started at a massive buck-twenty. After 2 years of not knowing really anything about training I was extremely lean yet still only about 135 pounds. My senior year, and I started to train a little more intelligently. I ran across the HIT guys and started using their stuff. I managed to get up to a massive 155 before I lost 10 pounds because of polevaulting (well, more because of all the sprinting I had to do). I run across T-Mag and I start reading that and really start learning about proper weight training and nutrition. I go to college and am now a sophomore and am up to a buck-seventy and around 10% bodyfat. A couple more months and I'll no longer be an irresponsible teenager, I'll be a irresponsible 20 year old. So, you have 50 pounds in 6 years. Of course, because I started at 13, some of that weight would have been put on regardless of what I ate or how I trained.
So, stats:
Age: 19 (20 in two months)
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 170
Bodyfat: average 9% according to a Tanita scale but the reading varies with hydration.
Lifting: 6 years.

You're right, I haven't reached my genetic ceiling yet but I'm willing to bet it's around 185-190. My family is naturally small and lean and it takes about 25 calories per pound of bodyweight for me to gain weight (seriously, I keep a food log). The reason for trying to minimize using steroids that easily convert into estrogen is because of two small lumps I had removed from my chest when I was 18. I'm prone to gyno and I don't really want to go through that again so I'm trying to minimize those side effects. No offense taken to any of the posts, I'm sure you get tired of answering questions that are mostly similar yet slightly different again and again. Oh, and as to why I'm looking at it now: it's obvious that (at least for me), it takes a while to get everything right.

Dude you still got a ways to go. Don't event think about gear yet. Your too young and underdeveloped naturally to do so. Concentrate on more intense workouts and eating more. Food is anabolic. Throw in some protein shakes and you'll be good. Your lucky, it seems you have the type of physique, metabolism, and athletic activiity that doesn't allow you to get fat, so you can basically eat whatever you want. And as long as you keep lifting intensely, it's all gonna turn into mass not fat.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum, when I was 20 I was a 280lb college football player. I had all the mass I wanted, I've been trying to lose weight since.
