Ric Flair

Oh this is sad. The man is basically broke.

All those Ex wives take their toll. He's actually not that broke though.

When he was doing this stuff I believe he was caught up in a few big lawsuits. But he made bank with TNA and he's still pulling crazy money from Vince. Both from his Legends deal and residuals from merchandise / media.

Think he's still got an active independent store on PWTees as well.

I'm sure holding stakes in various failed Gold's franchises back in the 90's had him in a tighter spot.

That’s good to hear. I heard tings got so bad for him he had to sell his “10 pounds of gold” replica and was making appearances in high school gymnasiums.

He was doing personal appearances for a bit and still does.

At the time I think it was more businesses that wanted the name value. Bear in mind that his fee is probably 10k or higher. Not a lot of little independent promotions can / will cough that up for a guy that probably isn't going to do much as take a bump.

But it's stuff like The Cauliflower Alley down the way in Iowa otherwise. Not HUGE but pretty well respected within the business.
