Rapid Insulin Difference (Humalog vs. NovoRapid)

Hey guys, wanting to get your insights on if it's acceptable to use NovoRapid (Aspart) as a substitute for Humalog (Lispro)? My source only has NovoRapid available which is why I'm asking. Based on what I've read the difference seems negligible:

Humalog	Insulin Lispro	Rapid-acting	10-15 min	~1 hr	3-4 hrs
NovoRapid	Insulin Aspart	Rapid-acting	10-20 min	~1-1.5 hrs	3-5 hrs

Does this sound right and based on this is it okay to go forward with NovoRapid? Thanks in advance.

In theory yes you’re fine, although I’m tagging a thread in a diabetic forum where they discuss real life differences between the 2, one person mentioning their doctor told them Humalog was not only faster but stronger, I use novorapid for bulking purposes and it works fine for me but worth having a read through this thread and maybe lowering dosage til you work out how your blood glucose looks on novo

Should be trialing Novorapid tomorrow if i can get it today as im now bolusing 20 minutes after eating. Been reading that Novorapid is generally slower than humalog but nothing mentioned by how much slower roughly. Consultant rekons im now too sensitive to the humalog but as I still need a...

Thanks for sharing this, it felt like a stupid question at first because the numbers look so similar on paper. I'm super cautious when it comes to insulin so I'm glad I asked.
