1. Eighteen year olds "shouldn't be able to join the military until they're 25". The military, just like religion, teaches that you gotta get them while they're young and unquestioning so they can be brainwashed. You couldn't have me as an almost 50 year old man in the military, bossing me around, telling me to believe shit because I'd laugh in your face.

I don't need an 18 year year old to go overseas and fight a war in some shithole country to keep us "free" over here.

There should be no gun control in this country, but you'll also need much heavier weapons to defend yourself against the military that will turn against the public for a steady paycheck.

It's simple, the more fighting for other's rights we supposedly do in other countries, the more rights we lose in this country. Every war has required the complete removal of citizen rights in order to keep the ones that question in prison where they belong.

It never made sense to me that this nation could enlist an 18yo to defend this country, but he isn't competent enough to decide if he can have a beer. This is just a knee-jerk reaction to a problem that this country has no idea how to resolve.

The mental illness of alienation, isolation, jumping through endless hoops to sustain yourself through endless ass kissing, shit licking from which there is no escape thanks to the powerlessness that is waiting for those that lack educational degrees and compliance.

So they rebel and that's through mental illness that becomes violence.

Young men have been neutered with a non-productive lifestyle while trying to fit in with a world that expect productivity. The work is alienating, the schools are mind numbing and society has become sterile...all of this leads to anxiety, depression and eventually dysfunction.

If one loses hope for the future and it's easy to do if you make a misstep in a society that keeps score, it would only make sense that your gonna have lots of people crack and go berserk.

One only has to look at the current suicide rate to realize just how bad it is.

There has been a 40% increase in all cause mortality for 18-49 since 2017.

There are people on top that are doing fantastic and they are the media's darlings, they are the people we advertise. No one is going into the gutter where half the population lives and asking how they're doing, it's just more American pie in the sky bullshit, hopes and dreams.

I've personally never seen this country worse than it is right now, this is a nightmare if you step back and look at the gravity of the situation.
